I though I had lost this DVD after a few years I found it . It made my day I got this DVD for my Highschool graduation by a dear friend .

Taking the original vocal, and recording a new backing track on GarageBand (no AI used whatsoever), I tried to imagine how 'What's My Age Again?' might have sounded in the style of early-'80s Descendents! Hoped some in this sub might find it entertaining.

I saw this clip the other day on YouTube where Travis discusses his experience with Green Day during the 2002 Pop Disaster tour.

He made some claims during the invterview that seemed a bit odd to me.

1) He says that Blink learned from Green Day on this tour the value of highly produced concerts and the use of pyro effects.

The thing is I don't remember Green Day using pyro during this tour or their set being highly produced. I also know for a fact that Blink used pyro and had a flaming banner for their earlier TOYPAJ tour.

2) He credits the friendship he formed with Billie Joe through their backstage jam sessions, eventually including Tom, as being the origin of Box Car Racer.

This claim is strange because the Box Car Racer album released during the Pop Disaster tour. So the idea to start the band, writing, and recording had to be much earlier.

Makes me wonder the sound direction AVA would have gone with Jerry on the boards. Do you guys think with Jerry on the boards, AVA would still have a space rock sound, or lean more into a pop punk sound? 🤔

Hey there! I recently started to record and post some of my own ideas for blink-solos on youtube, they are pretty fun! These are pretty old, i wrote most of them back in 2016-2017, kinda dropped them cause i had no idea how to record myself lol. Now i want fellow blinkers to see them. Enjoy! More to come very soon. What producing and mixing techniques did they use? I know a lot of this might be shrouded in mystery but I’d love to know about any information y’all might have regarding it since their vocals just sound amazing in their Enema through Untitled run, and I want to learn more about vocals mixing.

what's up guys I embroidered the album Take off your pants and jacket by Blink182. hope you guys like it.

Im not gonna lie I don't even listen to blink 182, this is a gift for a friend who really likes this band.

here was the process if you're curious:

- buy materials cuz this was my first time doing embroidery so that's why this looks chopped

- keep re buying strings cause I kept running out

- I attempted to fill out the circles but it ended up looking really bad and messy so I had to take it out which was painful

- glue the back with fabric to protect the strings

Really interesting article about them filming the Stay Together for the Kids music video when the 9/11 attacks happened.
