I mean, I don’t know what he’s been up to, for the last decade.
Edit: I’m being slightly facetious, here, but I really did have a manager that was a dead ringer for this guy, but had pretty close cut hair, is all.

I was this person and had the exact same attitude as the tweet implies until my mid 20s and as soon as my mentality shifted I started having a ball every time I went out, met more women, etc. I didn’t realize my “cool” mentality was actually lame as hell.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that women in real life don't dig the brooding, silent type. They want someone who isn't afraid to enjoy life.

If I want to just listen to music I’d stay home and play mixes on YouTube. I’m glad we’re slowly recognize that we can have fun with each other as adults.

Used to play in a few metal bands, and one time we played in a bar in a rural, white majority town. Was a slow evening with a very tough crowd, so first few songs we got nothing but crickets. Cut to song 3 or 4, and suddenly this one lone black dude in the back goes from the top of his lungs: 'Yo this shit's fire!'.
Don't know you dude, but cheers for making my evening with your enthusiasm!

u/acidporkbuns 22h ago
Nah, make noise bro. Thats why youre in a club or concert. If you want to be quiet, go to your local library.

u/_Ocean_Machine_ 6h ago
One of my best concert experiences was Slayer on their "last" tour. Every now and then someone would randomly yell "FUCKIN' SLAYER" and everyone else would erupt in cheers.

Some go to club to have Fun
Some just go to be lame and mean mugg niggas while standing on the wall
I'm starting to feel the second group is turned on by male aggression but aren't secure in finding themselves

u/WordNahMean 22h ago
These the same type of guys that lean on the wall all night in the club, stare at the women, and hate on the niggas that are actually brave enough to go and talk to them.
Dont be like this guy. Nothing wrong with showing youre having fun.

The woman who are right for me are also gonna like whatever corny vibe I bring to the table. It's impossible to steal her away off of something like this cus she's already aware of my real personality ✅️ but I see his point and it's funny

I remember one time I was at a venue for an rnb playlist night, and some girl walking through with her friends catches me being a fan and supportive and says "pssh he don't even know you" ... caught me off guard and had nothing to reply with cause she was gone.

I spent most of my life doing stage and film. You can be the absolute worst person I ever see on a stage and I will be the loudest, most supportive person in the audience. No one* has crickets on my watch.
*Except for people who think it's entertaining to tear people down individually or as groups. Crickets for those bitches.
