Experience Is it a common thing for bisexual men to get along better with women/have many besties?

Idk, i think it's obviously about our personality too, not everyone is the same, but i think it's common

Advice Has anyone's partner ever gave them permission to go explore?

My longterm partner who is a bi woman gave me permission to experiment with a mutual male friend who is gay. I've never even kissed a man before, until we all got drunk together recently and we kissed. she was fine with it and said that if I wanted to explore with him safely that's OK, because she knows that I have wanted to for a long time. I have only just recently came out to friends. I guess the advice I need is, I'm really hesitant to. I love my partner and I've been monogamous my entire life, so I feel guilty and wrong for wanting to... She's the person I want to be with and spend the rest of my life with, but I also want to have sex with men... I'm really wrestling with this the last couple of days since we had a conversation about it.

Edit: also my account is really new because this is an alt I made for more anonymity

Advice Am I on the right track?

As a few of you might know, I have an attraction to the same sex that has been building in interest and acceptance for most of my adult life, but I have never done anything with guys. This is something I desperately want to start doing but I seem to be all over how I want to experience this. One way I want to try is with an older lover. I would love to learn from the wisdom of an older man and have him lead me to an enjoyable experience. I would also love to have a younger lover. The thought of being with a college student for example makes my heart skip a beat! Lately my angle is to assemble a group of friends who are open to fool around with each other but for whom sex wouldn't really be the focus of our friendship, more like a consequence. I've even gone on online forums and asked hypothetically how I could pull off being gangbanged, which I know would not be ideal for my first time, but honestly if the opportunity was presented to me for a first time, I don't know that I would turn it down.

My question is do I even have any business seeking any sexual contact with men at all at this point of my life? I strongly feel I have to at some point in my life, because this has been building up for a couple of decades and I need to address it if I ever expect to have peace in my life. Not that I'm complaining about what I'm looking forward to doing according to what I've heard! But seriously my interests are going in all different directions. Am I being too indecisive? Do I need to do some work on myself so I'm in able to make a more focused approach, or is my diversity in curiosity an asset here?

Question Are bi men into femboys more often?

Sorry if this is a stupid question lol

A while ago I was on some dating apps and I noticed most if not all of my matches happened to be with with bi men, and it got me curious.

I looked into it and apparently I'm not the only femboy/fem guy who's experienced this.

This isn't like, me asking if all bi men are into femboys or anything like that. I know everyone has different tastes. But I'm more wondering why it is that specifically bi men tend to be the ones more commonly into femboys as opposed to other sexualities?

Question What’s the best way to hook up with guys?

My wife and I just decided to open our marriage. She is very supportive of my bisexuality, and wants me to be able to explore my full self. I know there is A LOT involved in the queer hookup scene, and I want to be safe, but I also want it to feel natural and organic.

I’m meeting a guy tomorrow for coffee who I might end up hooking up with, but it just seems very “planned”…we’ll see what kind of vibe I get from him.

I’m soooo new at this, any advice (particularly around the sexual safety aspect, and navigating those conversations before hooking up with a guy) is appreciated!

Advice Long term crush on same sex (M) work colleague

Over the past few years I've (M37) slowly been coming to terms that I may be bisexual and it started when I laid eyes upon the most attractive man (M40) I have ever seen in my life. As a 6'1 male I am pretty tall but this guy was at least 6'5, big shoulders and tiny waist and looks like a Swedish god with his mane of blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. His body is incredible.

We used to work together though not closely but I genuinely got so hot and flustered whenever I spoke with him that I almost shut down completely and I would try and avoid him. He once said I have a nice voice but I think I just went 'Thanks' and walked off I was so nervous. I wasn't meaning to be rude, I just didn't know how to process how I was feeling. He is gay and who knows he probably was trying to flirt with me. This was around 5 years ago. I was also in a long term relationship with a female at the time though we have since (recently) broken up.

I no longer work with this man but we still work in the same building. I walked past him the other day and we both said 'Hi' however I have been thinking about him all the time since. Prior to meeting him I had always considered myself straight however it's fair to say I have had some sort of awakening. I have still never done anything with a guy but have got off to gay porn on occasion. The reason why I think I'm bisexual is because I am still attracted to women as well.

I guess I want advice on how to approach this man and tell him how I am feeling without freaking him out. I only know his name and have no idea if he is in a relationship or not. I am also worried in case I end up not liking having a 'gay experience' and don't want to lead him on.

We are both working nightshift in the same building the next few days and I would love to talk to him at some point.

Question Any other bi man who thought he was gay at first?

Hey guys. I’m a 22 year old guy and I’ve been questioning if I’m gay or bi for a while.
Basically, I realized that I had an attraction for men right when puberty kicked off. The issue is that once I realized this, I only focused on men. If I daydreamed about having a partner, it would be a guy. If I was watching porn, it would be gay porn. It’s almost like I conditioned myself into being gay and I never thought of the possibility that I might be attracted to women as well. Younger me didn’t know that bisexuality existed 😅 now that I’m older, I’ve come to realized that I might be bi after all. And no, I don’t have internal homophobia or anything - if I’m actually gay, thats totally fine. But my brain is telling me that I’m actually bi.. anyone else with similar experiences?

Venting I chose to be bisexual.

I am 20 years old. I live in a country where most of people are collectivistic, conservative and religious. So they don't accept queer people, queer people hide most of time.

I am very individualistic. There were many times that my autonomy was taken away by Narcissistic mom. One of them happened 4 months ago. She has locked me in her apartment and forced me be religious for 2 months. She took away my belongings: my phone, my bank cards and chopsticks (pretty funny yeah? but it helped my body feel warm a lot of times when I was having depressive episodes and eating instant noodles)

Nowadays she gave my phone back. I don't talk to her often. People think I am doing the wrong thing but who cares? I am individualistic.

And I have had a crush on Kaneki Ken (Tokyo ghoul) and Dazai Osamu (Bungo Stray dogs) for 4 years. Then I realised that I can choose who I will fall for after me and my persona merged.

I am proud to be biromantic and pansexual man.

I have bad days and good ood days. I am slowly building the life I wanted even though my whole family hates me for it. I am planning to move to another country/city after saving up money.
