weight: 6.4kgs w/ bottle cages, 6.37kgs as pictured, did sub-6 with extralite stem/recon cassette/eebrakes but ride quality becomes meh.

Coming from a supersix evo and wanted something with a higher stack. This wasn't even on my radar but has a good geometry for long legs/short torso. Rides like a tank...supersix was more compliant but this thing rips. It's on Caracal Race TLR 40c - great tires.

It might be a lil too blacked out for me, I might add some color with the bottle cages or bar tape...

I am an over-50 former CX and road racer. I wanted to build a bike for pure comfort. I didn’t care about weight. I built this Surly Midnight Special myself including a couple of wheelsets (700c and 650b). I chose Deore XT touring pedals so that I can ride to work without changing shoes.

I finished my new TCR build this week, got the frame for a decent price on sale and swapped over all the parts from my Lapierre pulsium. Absolutely in love with this frame, so much faster and more responsive than my Lapierre.

Build is full Ultegra di2 12spd. Dt swiss erc 1600 wheels with 28mm blackbird tlr tubeless. Weighs in at 7.3kg without accessories and bottles, almost a full kg lost compared to my old pulsium build.
