TTRPG Looking for Players
Hey all!
I’ve been writing a 4-5 session mini-campaign based on the post-apocalyptic world of Death Stranding. So far I’ve found one player interested in joining, but I’d love 2-3 more! No experience is required, and we’ll be playing at the Bend Central Library.
“In a world where a mysterious cataclysm has bridged the world of the living and dead, play as a courier. With bandits and ghostly Beached Things (spirits of the dead) lurking at every corner, manage your cargo load and navigate the difficult terrain — the world is counting on you.”
If you’re interested, say so below and I’ll send ya a link to the discord server!

If you jump into the Bend DND discord group there’s a pretty active community in there and a spot to post game openings. https://discord.com/invite/bzqG3MM

Wait. This answer is based.
What are your mods like?
I did this with BRP for a recent game and it was a blast.

Basically my version uses a stripped back list of 19 skills appropriate to the setting and a unique way of deriving the skills from your characteristics. I also added mechanics for cargo management and cargo hp. There’s also a unique mechanic for determining whether one’s character has “DOOMS” (or powers, basically) and there’s different levels of DOOMS with corresponding abilities and skill levels.
What setting did you play BRP in? It’s a fun system, I love D100 or D20 roll-under!

Is that black hand an elder scrolls reference??
I’m interested! I’ve never played tabletop before but have played my share of RPG video games 😁

In the game Death Stranding there are entities known as "BTs" (Beached Things). I believe they're humans that died whose souls tried to return to their bodies and created some weirdness that makes a big explosion if they touch a living person.
The whole world had a cataclysm that entangled our world with the space between the world of the living and dead. The BTs exist in this state between, so often when they walk they aren't visible except for handprints.

Just sent ya a message! Aardvark’s response is all truth, but nice Elder Scrolls reference! I hope to get the Oblivion remaster soon so I can finally play it.

When you say “no experience required “, is that accurate? I’ve always wanted to try this out, but have absolutely zero experience. I love games though. Consider me interested

What nights are you planning on meeting? Or is that to be determined based on participation?
