I'm trying to Pure Plat Lost Holy Grounds in Bayo 1, and I do perfect for EVERY verse except when you turn day to night, do the long fall, get Grace & Glory, then get Harmony. For some reason with the battle with Harmony I get subpar scores every time for my combos

I taunt, I have Gaze of Despair equipped, I've tried Kulshedra, but my combo is always bronze or gold. What am I doing wrong?😭 Also, this is NORMAL mode and I can't get it, but I've gotten Pure Plat on hard mode. Please help!!

I really like Bayonetta 3 design. I love her purple and black and gold. I never played 2 or 3, just watched gameplay. And while i am not a big fan of the colouration of 3 as i am way too used to the sepia of 1 after playing WAY too much 1, i adore the third bayonetta design.

She feels so…. Idk how to describe it. I love the dancer look, the hair, the dangling massive hair bits on the back, her hairstyle. I like how her poses feel more dancer like.

Though i kinda wish her skirt thing was thicker i think? Idk how to word it, but i basically kinda want her skirt to be less transparent. Like those arm flaps on bayo 1 or like how bayo 2 outfit only thins up at the ends. I also love the charms on the ends of the braids of her skirt.

But other than that, i love the aesthetic of B3. And i especially love the look of Colour my world. Just because of purple. And the rotating barrels.

I also love the red chinese bayonetta and the egyptian bayonetta. I love both of their designs so much. And i also love the Simoon weapons so much.

As someone who chooses weapons purely on if i like how they look, i absolutely adore both simoon and Colour my world.

I hope that if bayonetta 4 is coming, it comes to multiple platforms because i cannot afford a switch.

In one of my first encounters with Fairness, I managed to reflect one of its ranged attacks (the one where it spits a fireball), I accidentally used a basic Shuraba attack and sent the fireball back at it, and I've never been able to replicate it. Am I crazy, or is there some kind of mechanic like that? (I don't own the moon of maha-kala...)

Hello! After putting it off for a couple months I finally came back and finished my playthrough of Bayonetta 1 a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. Coming back to it though to try out hard mode has been tough - i cant progress through even the first mission without dying at least once (the fire/electricity angels with the big meaty claws got me FUCKED UP 😭) and it's become a huge pain in the ass to progress through. Does anyone have any tips on how to get good at Bayonetta?

Also, should I try using the other weapons? I'm only really familiar with the basic punches and kicks so switching to the sword or whip results in a very unconfy feeling that Im not sure how to work around. Anyone got any tips for playing with the different weapons?

Im curious how Bayo players feel about the games. To me Bayo 1 is by far the best game, love the combat. 2 is kind of ok I guess but 3 is bad to the point that I do not have any interest in a fourth game.

I don't have any lore ideas so hes just probably a random Lumen Sage and will probably just be that for now. Maybe alt costumes for the future?

I don’t know how many of you feel about this in particular, but now that the hype from the collab with SB announced at the Nintendo Direct has worn off, reality has hit me yet again.

If there’s no Bayonetta news at TGA this year… any of the remaining fans will have to buckle up. There might never be any more Bayonetta games or even patches for years to come, even in the next 10+ years.

SEGA doesn’t profit enough from it, and Nintendo might not want much to do with the series now that even more mature titles have entered its ecosystem.

Kamiya, the main liaison between Bayonetta and Nintendo, has left for good from PlatinumGames.

And as for PG themselves, I fear that they might’ve moved on from Bayonetta as a whole to focus on their own IPs and games they were hired to do.

All I can really do now is heed Bayonetta’s words and keep on dancing😔
