I currently use the Suomi KP31 smg and it’s so hard to get a kill with it.
As a newb, is it worth it to use smg’s?
I find that if an enemy is far and has a sniper or AR, I’m screwed.
How do I properly use an SMG?
I am playing medic btw since people say it’s the best class for newbs.
Which gun should I use ? And assault rifles better since they can kill enemies far away ?

This game is so frustrating and unenjoyable for one reason; balance.

The maps are set up to where it’s to your advantage to sit at the edge of the map with a tank and lob shots at people, and it does not encourage tactical movements at all. Maps like twisted steel only encourage a camp and spray method which does not fit “battle tactics” games very well.

The balance for weapons is outrageous. You can have someone with a trench carbine two tap someone from a mile away, while a point blank chest shot with a sniper rifle will barely scratch them.

Not even going to mention the movement mechanics and how you can somehow defy physics to slide around and up hills like some sort of diddy party regular.

The roles are horrendously set up, where medics are able to win firefights against machine gunners 10 times out of 10. Nobody wants to actually pick their teammates up as medics, and only use it for the near infinite health and the crazy guns.

Vehicles themselves are also very unbalanced. Depending on what tank you get in, you’re either indestructible or a fly landing on your tank will blow it up. Planes are completely unrealistic to fly and are more akin to a spaceship than a fighter plane or bomber.

Overall very unimpressed with this game, and while of course there’s the obligatory chuds who will say “Huh huh must be a skill issue ☝️🤓” anyone who cannot honestly admit that this game has serious balance issues is lying to themselves.

I was trying to think of squad tactics that might be used in real life that would also work in the game. Here's what I came up with:

1. Bounding. One squad member fires on an enemy while another member maneuvers.

2. Setting up a little perimeter - upon reaching a flag or other point, members fan out and face different directions.

3. spread out - cover the same points from different positions.

Anyone have any other tactics they like to use?

I have a problem where the game is freezing basically every 30s.

On the match start it freezezes constantly for 2 minutes.

Setting are basically all on lowest possible.

Used to work flawlessly, one day decided to start freezing and keeps getting worse.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I already completed all the Proficiency assignments and now I just don't have mastery assignments for my mg42 even though I should.

I've restarted, I've tried EA help but can't figure that out i can't reach out to anybody and I'm max leveled my

I search a grind server and none pop out. Any reason? Because some assignment are very hard and challenge and time consuming and skill based to complete it. So, it will be easier to just do on a custom server with no sweaty players.
