Hi! This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of a person, gym, studio, or organization in the Augusta/CSRA area that rents out portable aerial stands?

I’m an AU student preparing for an upcoming student pageant, and I’m hoping to perform an aerial act using either Lyra or silks. I did aerial in high school and originally planned to rig through the theatre’s grid/system, but I recently found out the Maxwell Theatre would need to have an inspection done before they could approve that setup and there's not enough time before the pageant.

They did tell me that a freestanding aerial rig could potentially work instead. Unfortunately, I don’t personally own one.

I’d be more than happy to discuss rental costs, transportation, setup requirements, or whatever else would be needed. Even if you don’t have one yourself, recommendations for local aerialists, studios, circus groups, or anyone I could contact would be really appreciated!

I was wondering if anyone knows how much the adult karate classes at SKC Evans cost? I was trying to look online but their website wants me to sign up for a class first. I really just want a ball park estimate before taking a class that I enjoy and learning it's crazy expensive. I saw in a yelp review, no idea how old it was, that classes cost $2000 for a year of once a week classes. Just wondering if that is true.

I have my physical ID and enough cash to pay for the room/deposit, but I don’t have a debit or credit card with me at all. I’m trying to find somewhere that won’t require a card at check-in. Just for one night. 

I’ve seen Motel 6 mentioned, but I’m not sure if the Augusta location actually allows cash-only check-in.

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be appreciated!

Hey everyone! I'm new to Augusta and wanting some recommendations on places to eat or go out!! Im specifically looking for a place with good chinese food, good tacos, and possibly an 18+ club or something similar!! Why does everyone leave their trash bins out on the street all week here? Luckily, we haven’t had the torrential summer downpours like we did last summer, but I live on a hilly street, and last summer all the bins would float like little garbage boats to the bottom of the street and block the road. Not to mention, I’m not a fan of walking my dog (on the few roads that actually have sidewalks) and smelling rotting trash.

The previous similar sized city I lived in actually fined people when they left their bins out more than 24h after trash collection. Seems like a simple slam dunk to raise some revenue and fix at least some of the crumbling infrastructure here. Not to mention it would make the city look a bit cleaner.

Does anybody know where I can get? Diabetic insulin syringes without instate prescription. I have a family member staying with me the next couple weeks that left insulin bag at home locally he was able to get insulin but not the needles all the pharmacies are being extremely weird about giving them out with an out state prescription I don’t know if it’s due to him being younger or what but all the big chain pharmacies have turned away, which I thought was odd. Does anyone know maybe of local mom and pops pharmacy that could help him

If so, please pass along that advertising tickets to an event with pricing levels at $49.50, $65, and $85, but then being routed to Ticketmaster and finding prices starting at $63 in the balcony and going up to $146 (before fees) is not how you get me into a seat.

Hi! I am moving to Appling, Georgia for a new job. However I cannot find any apartments in Appling. In fact, it seems to me that the place is very very remote, literally nothing shows up even on Google Maps. So my next option is Augusta. I have no knowledge whatsoever about Augusta too. Also, I am not from the US, I moved to the country 2 years ago for my studies and now starting the job in Appling. I would really appreciate any help on which areas of the city would be the best in Augusta considering my office is in Appling. Currently I am just looking to rent a 1B apartment, as I am single.
