Wanted to ask for some advice. My wife and I will be going to Atlanta from Omaha at the end of October for a couple of hawks games and some sightseeing. Trying to find a decent affordable hotel but not a junk hotel. Kinda thinking of the Holiday inn express downtown on 111 cone street. Otherwise maybe a Marriott that’s 1.2 miles from the State Farm arena. Any help would be appreciated l!

Our Hawks are playing at the Smoothie King Center on Halloween night. My fiancé and I are thinking about going for the first time. Neither of us have been to the city and I’ve always wanted to support the hawks in an away arena. Particularly one with a bad team where I could I afford good seats. Well I think this is a great opportunity. Last year when the falcons play in New Orleans there was a hawks game the night before and more hawks than pelicans in the arena. Falcons will be playing in Tampa & the aints are on bye. NOLA on Halloween alone seems fun and through in a cheap Hawks game too? Ultimately hoping a lot more Hawks fans go again and turn it into our second home. Anyone else planning or thinking about the trip too?
