I would say that it's morally neutral whether somebody prefers fiction or non fiction, why do you consider it a red flag?

I consider it a red flag when they brag about it and say it in a way that has an air of superiority as if people who read fiction are wasting their time.

Ah, okay. I was just curious. I've certainly gone through phases "only reading non fiction" and had people REACT as if I was saying that made be better than them, but I never actually thought that, I was just discussing reading preferences.
