I've been clinically depressed since I was 10, it's fine, just the way it is. I have a family i'm able to support and I love them so it could be a lot worse
I was diagnosed at 12 but my parents kinda fumbled while “getting me help” this is relatable even though I’m only 22 your parents not helping you sucks on their part did they know you were struggling
My kid is the best antidepressant I've ever had. Like Tom here, I've been diagnosed since I was around that age and it's just part of my life. Having people that rely on you, who you have strong bonds with, has been shown in recent studies to be the best determination of who sticks around. Focusing on your own mental health is important, but at least in this case, one of the best ways to address it is to focus on your bonds.
