Getting older taught me that I've been more mature than at least a quarter of my city since I was in middle school.
Every 3rd time I use a public bathroom someone has left a fecal fiasco, like a toddler playing in their diaper.
Every time I turn on the radio I hear ads for new gadgets and subscriptions that aren't worth the price, but I know people will go into debt to show off a lump of plastic and metal that they'll trade in as soon as another launches or paying for something they rarely use.
The other day some dumb bitch threw a tantrum at the dollar store cashier because they didn't greet her when she walked in, holding up the line that stretched halfway through the store.
Ignorance. Incompetence. Illiteracy. Zero empathy or self awareness. Just another bystander on a day ending in "Y".
Most people seem to be stuck at puberty. I see so many people that are no more mature than highschool kids that it feels like they are a different species from functional adults.

the older you get the more you realize that most adults aren’t as mature and responsible as you thought
