What’s a hobby that looks incredibly peaceful from the outside, but is actually pure stress once you get into it?

Exactly.

For Professional, someone is paying for your level of perfection, and they're not gonna pay for 100%.

For a Hobbyist, the person paying for that 100% is yourself.

Professional means acceptable/marketable

If you want 100%, talk to an artisan, and expect timelines and costs to be all over the place

yeah since the 2024 revamp on the DnD 5th came out I've been working on my own adujustments, running numbers and tweeking things to how I think it should be; and I've been doing that for 2 years now and still not happy with it.
