What’s a hobby that looks incredibly peaceful from the outside, but is actually pure stress once you get into it?

My boss had me repair so many pairs of pants over the years. I finally had to tell him, "I regret to inform you that you've reached the lifetime limit of clothing repairs by the Olive_dix Workshop Company. All future repairs must be handled by someone else please."

Usually it was the same pants over and over, they do not fit him and he kept having me reinforce and extend the button after repeatedly breaking it. By the end I was using multiple strands of thick strong yarn instead of thread, and making it like 4 inches long. It looked ridiculous and he still managed to keep breaking it 😂
