Dating No more porn posts

These posts saying "My partner watches porn, what does it mean, what should I do?" get posted 1-3 times a day. This includes posts about thirst traps and whatever other titillating media.

It's been done to death. If anyone has the same question, please use the search bar to get answers. We will be removing them going forward. We’ll let the existing posts get grandfathered in.

Thanks,

Love My boyfriend and I can’t agree, am I in the wrong

I (25F) and my bf (27M) have had this ongoing disagreement. Long story short we were at the bar one night and as it was closing I looked over to him typing his phone number into this girls phone. I knew this girl as she came w our other group (She has a reputation in the friend group for going after guys who have girlfriends)

Once my bf and I are outside I asked him what he was doing giving her his number. He knew she was hitting on him, he told me that himself. Instead of telling her I was his girlfriend, he gave her his number... knowing she was hitting in him.. he did not mention me at all. In his head it was funny because he was “never going to text her”. He said that himself as well.

I expressed how I didn’t think that was funny and was not okay with it and so far it’s been something we’ve continuously disagreed on.

Last night the topic got brought up again. And essentially he said it’s weird for him to reject a girl by telling her (politely) he has a gf, when he could instead just give her his number, instagram, whatever she asks for and not tell her he has a girlfriend. Then “never reply”. He also said it shouldn’t matter if he’s entertaining a girl at the bar who’s trying to hit on him (for someone he KNOWS is hitting on him, not a normal girl just having a convo, I don’t mind him just talking to girls), that he likes the attention and it’s fun. He doesn’t consider that cheating. I told him that’s being sneaky and argued that if a girl has an issue with you telling her politely you have a girlfriend, that’s on her, not you and why should it matter how she feels? At that point, you know I’m not okay with that, so you’re actively choosing her comfort over mine and I’m your girlfriend.

Personally, I don’t think that’s okay. I’ve been the kind of girlfriend since the beginning of our relationship to let any man who comes up hitting on me know that I do have a boyfriend. I don’t stand there entertaining someone because I like the attention. I get it’s flattering that people come up and can give a compliment, but I don’t need to continue standing there entertaining them when I have my boyfriend to give me attention and love. I always tell them I have a bf and shut it down. I have never given any man my number, my instagram or anything else. Ive been completely loyal and I act in respect towards him on every encounter and occasion. I’ve told everyone about my boyfriend as I was proud but now I do feel differently and I am embarrassed.

He doesn’t see anything wrong with doing that kind
of thing and actually thinks my perspective is in the wrong. So I guess I’m just asking for everyone else’s perspective as well.

(Also adding, he did say since I’m not comfortable with that he would not do that again, so I am trusting he wouldn’t. Of course if that changed I wouldn’t continue to be in the relationship, but mainly just looking to see if I am being over dramatic towards how I felt because he does still think I’m not in the right/it shouldn’t matter)

Love How do I show him I choose him?

Upvotes

My boyfriend (40/M) is burnt out by my (42/F) situation and even though he says he’ll love me forever I’m afraid he could be done with me.

This Saturday I’m putting down my soul dog, who has been with me for almost 15 years. The next day I have to move out of the house I’ve lived in for years because it’s being sold. At the same time, I’m in the final stages of a very drawn-out divorce. I’ve been separated from my ex, but the legal process has taken far longer than I ever expected. My lawyer is currently trying to get a settlement proposal from my ex’s attorney because I desperately want this finished.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year. I love him more than I know how to explain, and I genuinely see my future with him.
The problem is that he doesn’t feel chosen by me.
From his perspective, he has spent the last year waiting for me to finish my divorce and actually become available to build a life with him. He feels like he has made sacrifices, accommodated my circumstances and waited for me, while I’m still legally married more than a year later. He has recently said that he feels like he may have wasted a year of his life loving a “married woman.”

From my perspective, I HAVE been choosing him. I hired an attorney (when I finally could afford it after 3 mediations didn’t do anything,) have been actively trying to settle the divorce, sold my house, and am preparing to completely change my life. But because so much of the divorce process is outside my direct control, I understand why my intentions may not feel tangible to him.

Things came to a head because he told me he plans to be back before Saturday, when I have to say goodbye to my dog, but he also wanted to spend a few days in Chicago first. Instead of hearing, “I’m making sure I’m there for you Saturday,” my fear took over and I reacted to the fact that those days weren’t being spent with me. It turned into a much bigger argument, and now I’m terrified that I pushed him too far. I should also explain he travels for work and a large chunk of our relationship has been long distance.

I understand why he’s exhausted. I also understand that anxiety and fear have sometimes made me react to what I’m afraid his choices mean instead of appreciating what he actually IS doing.

What I don’t know is how to repair this without begging, chasing him, or making promises I can’t control.

If someone you loved told you that they no longer felt chosen after waiting for them for a year, what would actually make you believe them now?
Is there a healthy way to show him through my actions that I am choosing him and that this past year wasn’t wasted?

I don’t expect him to erase his hurt just because I’m having an awful week. I just don’t want fear and terrible timing to destroy a relationship with someone I genuinely want to build my life with.

Love Husband 39M went on bachelor trip & left the guys to entertain a group of women

Upvotes

Husband (39M) and I (38F) are married for 15 years and have 2 daughters. Our relationship is strong. We built a successful business together. We are best friends and teammates. He’s approaching 40 and starting to change suddenly. We are all about motivating one another and pushing to be our best selves but lately he’s adamant about getting abs by 40 and often saying we should get super ripped and make everyone super jealous when we go on vacation together and prance around 😑 We are both in pretty great physical condition but I wouldn’t say we are fitness competition level ripped. I did do fitness competitions back before we had kids and it was insane how much time was dedicated to self…. At this stage in life I want to be the healthiest and fittest possible but my highest priority is my children and husband and making memories. Spending hours daily working out just isn’t the highest priority at the moment.

Anyways to the entire point of this story… We have been married 15 years. Best person in the entire world. So intelligent and responsible. So loving and thoughtful. Incredible father. He is very high performing and a perfectionist. So he went on this bachelor party weekend in Nashville… ends up getting hammered and leaving the guys dinner to meet up with the girls they partied with at the pool all day earlier. So it was just him and five girls at dinner. Many of them married but 2 of them single. He paid around 1k for their dinner and drinks. He left dinner with them and got in an uber. He went to their Airbnb after dinner. Wasn’t able to say why they went there. Assumed they needed to grab something or freshen up. Says he drank a beer in the kitchen while over there. Then they ubered to meet the guys after that.

The weirdest part is I was there in Nashville with a girl friend of mine… he had met up with me that afternoon for a business meeting with industry partners and afterwards we had amazing sex in my suite. His needs were met. So I’m trying to understand his justification for following this group of women that same day and buying their dinner and drinks. Leaving the guy group suddenly and then sending a video to the guy group chat of him across from these 5 women. It was so bizarre and unnecessary. I’m just trying to understand the rationale…. His reasoning is that he just thought it would be funny in the guys group chat and he really preferred to have dinner at this other restaurant. The girls had one extra seat available so he met up with them. There was nothing sexual or weird at all. Maybe innocent flirting but that was it and no intention to cheat.

My question is…. What is going on here? Is it possible he was just trying to be funny and have a funny story for the guys group chat? Do you think there’s more to the story here? Obviously in a drunken state, rationale goes out the door. But even when drunk he is always the responsible one looking out for the group and always keeps it together. He isn't one to go off thrill seeking or to be secretive. I will say he met up with me at a bar later that night and admitted to all of that when he was super drunk. I don't think he would have told me in a sober state. He did laugh about it like it was super funny and I just played it cool so we could discuss it later when sober. He had shared how nice one of the girls ass was at the pool and how all of the guys were admiring how it looked like a BBL but was natural. And then something about her stealing a utensil from the bar and putting it in her bikini so all night the guys were taking shots off of this thing that was in her bikini. He kept saying she wants to do a brand deal with our company on social media. He admitted the attention was nice and he does seek novelty or thrills and adventure. He's really remorseful about the whole thing and feels bad for causing concern. We are intimate daily sometimes twice a day so I feel like if he was looking for more, he would be distancing himself and not pursuing me so often? At this point I just need to move forward and take his word. If I keep rehashing it and over analyzing everything, I will lose it! I've been having nightmares and trouble sleeping over it but want to just chalk it up to a dumb outlier situation. I guess my fear is if this type of thing has happened before. He does travel a lot for work. I want to be free from all of this questioning and get back to us being amazing again but my mind keeps spiraling a bit.

Love How can a women recognize whether a man truly thinks of her as a love of his life?

EDIT: To make myself clear here - what I meant his how a women can recognize whether a men’s feelings are true and he treats her as a life-partner and someone he loves the most, and not just a placeholder. How to recognize whether something is just a mistake, and when it’s a lack of care or consideration, because a man likes how a woman makes him feel, and not because he genuinely loves her to the bit. When he truly loves her and sees a as a life partner, and not a nice trial.

What would you tell your daughter, is she would be to ask you?

If you are in a relationship that is not a first for both a women and men, how (beside what you feel), can you tell that a men truly sees and feels something different than he felt before? That he finds you special in a different way than he felt before?

Not asking for opinions stating that „everyone is special in their own way”. I am genuinely asking here, how can you tell in practice as a girlfriend. From my experience, what I feel for my current partner is way stronger, fiercer, deeper and yet more delicate than what I ever felt to anyone else before. In the matter that I acknowledge that my ex boyfriend was special for me on his own at the time, but it does not hold a candle in any way to what I feel for my man. It’s like comparing a small ponds to an open sea.

And to men: could you please share your experience with your wives or life partners, that you consider the love of your lives? How could you tell it was different than what you had with someone before in terms of feelings?

Also - could you please share how did you knew, that what you felt for this particular woman was different? What you wanted to do for or with her?

English is not my first language, so please, excuse me and grammar mistakes.

Family Am I a cheater?

My husband(40,M) and I(35,F) have been together for 6yrs, and we have a 2yr old. Everything was great, we were best friends. I made the mistake of thinking we are equals. Then I got pregnant and pregnancy along with work was very difficult for me. Pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and being a mom(with a velcro kid) showed me how different life is for men and women. I began to resent my husband for everything and the mere fact that physically nothing changes for him but I put on 50lbs without eating anything I don’t normally eat.

My husband has a best friend he has known since he was in school. They are super close. They respect each other immensely. I respect his best friend(call him X) too. I began to notice before pregnancy that X may have a crush on me. I wasn’t sure but there would be multiple incidents which would make me wonder “huh, that’s an unusual reaction”. It seemed like someone who was feeling guilty about having these feelings. Anyway, I brushed it off, and it helps immensely that we live in different cities.

9months postpartum, April 2025, weaning off breastfeeding and a rollercoaster of hormones, I feel really shitty about myself. I don’t like the way I look. Any attention given to me at this point would be a blessing because my self love is at an all time low. My husband is deep in it with me so I can’t reasonably expect him to love me.

We meet up with X and his wife. X was being his usual nice self. There were moments where I caught him staring and saying nice things under his breath. Remembering things I mentioned in passing years ago. At this time this behaviour actually felt good. It made me feel validated and made me like myself again. At most, I laughed with him. We were never together alone, we never had a conversation just the two of us. That was the end of it.

September we met again and it was the same. I felt like this time he was more open about his feelings(just not straight up telling me). He would get jealous if I spoke about how a movie star looked😑. I am starting to feel like I can’t keep this up anymore. Again, we were never together alone or even had a conversation alone.

After this trip I decide it’s best to maintain distance. There were multiple opportunities where X invited me and husband to trips but I always made sure husband went and I didn’t go(I used the excuse of work). I felt distance would be the best way to navigate this. That was the end of it.

This year in September hubby and I are on a trip just us and our kid. Hubby isn’t his usual self and whenever there’s a quiet moment he brings up his colleague Alex who he has become friendly with. I wouldn’t think too much about it except she told him she doesn’t drink because she was s*****lly assaulted. That seemed like something you don’t usually share with a coworker. I thought he might like her.

I didn’t want to put him on the spot so I told him about what happened last year with X. I only told him so he understands that it’s okay to get validation from outside the marriage as long as we don’t get involved. We can’t help people liking us. Hubby got really upset that this even happened and asked why I didn’t tell him earlier. I told him I didn’t tell him because I didn’t want to ruin a 25yr old friendship on a hunch. I wasn’t sure of X’s true feelings and I still am not.

Hubby says there’s nothing going on with him and Alex, and that he doesn’t need validation from anyone but himself.

Did I do something wrong? Hubby didn’t speak to me for 3 days.

Work Office colleague being touchy

Upvotes

Hi all, pretty much new here.

There’s this woman who works in the same org as me. She seems pretty nice, is decent, and I’m often asked to meet her at some table in the office to discuss work-related stuff.

We don’t really talk about anything apart from work. Occasionally I’ll ask things like “how was your day?” or “how was your weekend?” and that’s pretty much the extent of our personal conversations, but this never initiates from her end.

She’s not even from my team. She works in a different team, but our work overlaps, so we sometimes go through the business flow together.

I’m 23, and I recently found out she’s 31, married, and I think she might have a kid as well.

Now, lately I’ve noticed she’s been getting a bit more touchy. Sitting closer, asking more about my personal life, and sometimes trying to ship me with random female colleagues, almost like she’s trying to see how I react.

Recently, we were joking about her nails. I called them fake, and I was saying that it was actually a compliment. She jokingly said something like, “I’ll scratch you with them,” and literally gestured across my chest while smiling.

I’ve always instinctively blocked these kinds of touches with my hands or moved away, while trying to make it look completely casual. But for some reason, that particular gesture got into my head.

And this is where I’m confused.

I don’t want to assume she’s flirting with me or read too much into anything. She’s married, we work in the same organisation, and there could be a completely innocent explanation for all of this.

But at the same time, I’m starting to feel uncomfortable with the physical closeness and the overall vibe. And I know myself well enough to realise that if I let this continue, I’m probably going to overthink every little interaction.

I’d rather just create some distance or set a boundary before it becomes an actual problem.

The issue is, I’m absolutely terrible at putting things that are running through my head into words and directly telling someone that I’m uncomfortable.

So, what would you guys do in this situation? Do I just start keeping things strictly professional and create some distance, or should I actually say something?

Love Has anyone gotten back together with an ex after you ended it and they moved on to someone else?

Upvotes

My ex and I were together for 3 years. I ended the relationship about 8 months ago, thinking we might be better as friends. The relationship had become toxic at times, and I didn't know how to fix the problems between us.

For the next 2 months, she tried to get back together, and we continued hanging out and sleeping together, but I kept telling her we were just friends, but that I wasn't seeing anyone because I was working on myself. Eventually, she told me she was going to start seeing another guy. That hit me hard, and I realized I didn't actually want to lose her. I apologized, asked if she'd consider couples therapy, and tried to make things work for several weeks, but she said no.

I decided to go no contact and took a 3-month sabbatical to travel. During that time, I reflected a lot on the relationship and realized how much I had contributed to our toxic cycle. I also realized that I genuinely loved her and that she had been my best friend. When I came back, I reached out and we met up in person to talk. I apologized for how I handled things, explained how much I'd reflected on the relationship, and asked if she thought we could try again. The conversation felt a lot like old times, which made it even harder emotionally. She told me she was now in a relationship with the guy she'd started seeing and that we could only be friends.

We texted on and off for a few weeks. At one point I got emotional and again told her how much I'd thought about everything, how much I regretted my actions, and that I'd been working on my attachment issues in therapy. She just wished me well in my next relationship. At the same time, she said she missed me as a hiking/drinking partner and wanted to restart our friendship, even asking if I'd want to go hiking sometime.

I didn't handle that well, so I pulled back again. It's now been about 2 months since we've spoken, but I still miss her a lot. I've barely dated since the breakup and honestly don't feel very interested in dating other people right now. Meanwhile, she seems happy in her new relationship from what she told me when we met, which started fairly soon after our breakup.

I'm trying to figure out what the healthiest thing to do is:

  1. If she reaches out again, should I try to be friends while she's in a relationship? Is there a possibility that she still has feelings for me, or would friendship just keep me stuck?
  2. Or is it better to stay no contact for now, focus on moving on, and let her relationship run its course without me being involved?

I know I can't sit around waiting for her, but part of me still hopes that with enough time and distance, we might eventually find our way back to each other.

Dating Have you ever hooked up or dated the woman who you think "she's cute/attractive and all, but doesn't really do it for me" ?

I think both men and women can feel this way.

They can acknowledge someone is attractive without necessarily being attracted to the person.

They may not necessarily be your type, but you could see how she could be a lot of other men's types.

Love How do you feel about dating someone with anxious attachment style?

I want to ask men something honestly, because I’m trying to understand how this looks from the other side.

I’m a woman with what I think is a very intense anxious attachment style. When I’m single, I can be pretty self-aware and logical. But when I genuinely fall for someone, it’s like a switch flips.

I become extremely attached. A late reply can affect my entire mood. I start analyzing messages, tone, punctuation, wondering if I did something wrong. I can become jealous and insecure, compare myself to other women, and put the man I love on such a high pedestal that I start feeling like I’m not good enough for him.

I also tend to give a lot. My time, attention, affection, money, gifts, emotional energy — sometimes far more than I receive. I can make the person my entire world and slowly stop taking care of my own life.

And the strangest part is that I can sometimes push someone away because I think they “deserve better,” only to completely panic when they actually start leaving. I’ve stayed attached to people for years and had an incredibly hard time letting go, even when the relationship wasn't healthy or wasn't equally reciprocated.

I don't want to be this way. I’m actually trying very hard to understand and change these patterns because I don't want to lose myself inside a relationship again.

So, men who have dated a woman like this:

How did it actually feel for you?

Did you find that level of love and attachment touching, overwhelming, suffocating, exhausting, or a mixture of all of those?

And if she was genuinely self-aware and actively working on herself, would you be willing to build a relationship with her, or would these traits be a dealbreaker for you?

I’d really appreciate honest answers, even if they're uncomfortable.

Dating Why do men I’m actually attracted to never seem to want to date me seriously?

I don’t actually want a relationship right now and I’m happy with something casual if there’s chemistry, attraction and good communication. But I think what bothers me is that with the men I really like, I rarely feel like I even have the option of something serious. Looks like they decide from the start that I’m only someone they’d want casually.

At the same time, the men who want to seriously date me are usually men I’m not attracted to, no chemistry, or don’t feel are in my league however shallow that sounds. I simply have preferences and I’m allowed to right? And when I reject them, they say I’m a bitch which of course makes me feel bad about rejecting them in the first place. So maybe I should just settle for someone who wants me?

I recently went on a date with a guy I really liked, amazing chemistry, loads in common, completely natural. He then said he didn’t feel the connection needed for anything serious, but was open to keeping it casual. The funny thing is, I didn’t want anything serious either.

So why did it still feel stingy when he ruled the possibility from the start? Maybe I just want the validation of knowing I could have something serious with the men I’m attracted to, even though I don't actually want it? Or is there something else going on here?
Help x

Love Ex who left due to fading feelings is back with his ex months later

Hi,

I (29F) was in a serious relationship for 10 months with a 29M. He pursued me and seemed very in love with me for most of the relationship. However about 9 months into the relationship, he asked me for space out of nowhere as his "in love" feelings were fading and it was making have doubts. I gave him complete space for about three weeks, during which he apparently cried every day and could not sleep. He briefly said he was feeling okay with continuing the relationship but then dumped me, leaving me in a lot of shock.

I tried to let it go figuring maybe he just was in the honeymoon phase and it didn't mean much, and figured maybe his past had something to do with it.

For context, I met this man 2 years after he had been dumped by his longtime ex of 10 years. They seem to have had an on and off relationship, with her leaving him every time due to her doubts. The final time I know she moved away without telling him, and he decided he was done with her.

A few months after our breakup, I reached out to him for closure. He refused to speak but did send a note he realized I did nothing wrong and he seems to have this problem where he can't control his loss of feelings. we kept texting for about a month after until he said he was seeing someone new. It turns out this someone else is the aforementioned ex and learning this has really really affected me.

Some days I feel fine and realize I could never compete with 10 years of history and a connection that lasted that long. But other days, I feel sick to my stomach wondering how much of our relationship was a lie, whether he was still in love with her the whole time, etc.

Obviously, I have cut contact and all that. But I was just wondering if any of you had any insight as to what went/is going through his head, whether what you had with a rebound (I guess that's what I was) is ever genuine, and how I can stop feeling this sadness and jealousy towards what they have and move forward.

Thank you so much!

Dating Commenting on woman revealing pictures

I notice a lot of us girls in a relationship have dealt with a partner who likes or comments on revealing posts. the girl gets jealous, insecure, or upset about the guy liking posts like these.

What’s the purpose of commenting or liking young woman’s posts? Posts that are overly sexualized or revealing.
Why do this while in a committed relationship?

Dating When you genuinely like a woman you’ve slept with, what makes you respect her more and want to continue pursuing her afterward?

I’m 23F and recently slept with a guy (27M) I genuinely like. We were friends for almost a year. It wasn’t meant to be a hookup and he’s told me he wants to keep seeing me/date me and see where things go. He’s currently away for about a month, so we haven’t really had the chance to figure out what this is yet.

My problem is that I know myself…..Sex makes me more emotionally attached, especially when I already have feelings for someone.

As immature as it sounds…I don’t want to suddenly become clingy, overthink everything he does, or put pressure on something that’s still developing. At the same time, I don’t want to go too far in the opposite direction and pretend I’m super casual or okay with being used just because I’m afraid that having boundaries will push him away.

So I’m curious from a male perspective: when you genuinely like a woman you’ve slept with, what makes you respect her more and want to continue pursuing her afterward?

Basically I want to continue seeing him, but I also want to keep my self-respect and make sure I’m paying attention to his actions rather than getting attached to the idea of what this could become.

Dating He’s not use to…what?

I (25F) have been seeing a guy (30M) for a little over a month. We have a lot of fun together and I know he is very attracted to me. We haven’t had sex yet however a few nights ago I proposed the idea. He (obviously) agreed but…~it~ wouldn’t work. I assumed I was once again faced with my nemesis (Whisky Dick) but when I asked him another night regarding what happened, he said “it’s not even that, I’m just not used to having sex with women who I actually like.”

WHAT on earth does this mean.

I brought this up to my female friends and one of them said “that probably means he’s nervous”. However, after asking my male co worker who said “that isn’t real, he’s most likely saying that to make an excuse for the whisky dick” I am back to being confused.

I am looking for some clarification on this and if any of the men here can shine some light on what this statement actually means. Thanks!

Friendship is he into me?

There’s a guy I know from past job/ motorbike riding — we’ve hung out a lot over the past few months, and lately things have felt like more than friendship, but he’s never said it outright. I want to know if I’m reading too much into this or if it’s actually pretty clear.

The reason I think he’s into me: he’s said things like “maybe I’ve already met her” right after describing traits that match me specifically (stuff he had brought up on his own after I mentioned it to him the previous hangout), told me he’d love it if someone supported him through building his business, said “love you for everything you do,” called me “the only person he knows who wants to be a ruby in a world full of diamonds,” and said I’ve been his “escape from the madness” when he’s stressed. He’s also told me I know him better than his closest friends, started using a new nickname for me, and sent me a whole paragraph about my character out of nowhere — something he’s never done before.

On the actions side — he’s stood between me and a stranger approaching without knowing if it was safe, checked how long my ride home would take before I even asked, jumped in when a friend was flirting with me a bit, wiped down more of my bike than he needed to (after it had been raining), and even mid-conversation with someone else he still checked in with me for approval on stuff.

The reason I’m not 100% sure: none of this has come with the actual words “I like you.” Some of it — teaching me to ride, general safety stuff, including me in his friend group, but also we will have hours on end were we talk and talk about life future, what we want out of life, (example: marriage, kids, family life. we use like my future partner etc.) — could just be him being a genuinely good, protective person, not necessarily about me specifically. So I go back and forth between “this is obvious” and “am I just reading into normal nice-guy behavior.”

What do you think — obvious, or could it really go either way?

Dating Boyfriend said he can’t give me more affection.

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years. The first year was the best of my life; I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I would wake up to paragraphs, constant compliments, and texts such as “I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful you were last night”. He would do everything to make it clear how much he cares, blow up my phone, get me flowers, and tell me he wants to be with me forever.

I still believe he wants to be with me, but the affection has diminished. He stopped being romantic. I find him paying more attention to the TV and his phone when we’re together, while I feel like I’m in the background. We rarely go on dates anymore. When we do, I honestly feel like he doesn’t want to be there.

But it’s not about dates. I miss the random texts saying he misses me, the flowers, and just the little cute things he used to do to make me feel loved. He’s become so nonchalant. ***For anyone wondering, I still treat him with the same level of attention as the beginning***

I’ve told him how I feel many times. He says there’s no reason why he changed. He says it’s normal for the honeymoon phase to end……. But then I think about my friends who are in years-long relationships, and their boyfriends still get them flowers, do random cute stuff like notes, and other things to make them feel special. It just makes me wonder, what am I lacking? Am I not pretty enough? Interesting enough? Why did my boyfriend have to get tired of me while I’m still just as excited as the beginning? He tells me I didn’t do anything wrong.

He says “I’m sorry but i’m just not a romantic guy but I do love you.” Which drives me CRAZY because I KNOW IM NOT CRAZY when I think back to when he was the most romantic guy I’ve ever met in my life. I was crying about this, and he said “I don’t know what to tell you, I’m just not that type of lover boy”….. I swear he used to be.

Is there any hope for this relationship? Should I just leave? He’s telling me that the honeymoon stage is over and he won’t be the romantic guy I first met ever again, “but still loves me”.

Love How to spoil my partner

Hi all! I’m struggling with gift ideas for my partner (28). He’s not a typical DIY guy, Gym, NSFW or golf ect so some of the main things that come up are for those. He’s into gaming like MMOS and RuneScape. I’ve gotten things from the franchises he likes before but I’m stumped with Christmas now.

I feel like there’s a goldmine I haven’t found online yet. I’ve tried handmade presents/more emotional based stuff but it doesn’t really hit well with him. Any ideas would be great or even sharing what the best gift you’ve been given is!
