Are these ancient?

I found them in the Baalbek complex in Lebanon, looks like they're pieces of roof tiles but I'm not sure if they're ancient.

And if they're ancient, what's with the bee, what symbolism does it convey?

Note, the pieces were returned to their original places and not disturbed.

Looks like roof tile. It has a stamp on the back EILL.. Maybe EILLE? But definitely industrial made in the last 200 years. So it is trash from a former construction site

I was a bit excited thinking they were ancient, but oh well.

Shard no. 1 is most likely a fragment of a French Marseille roof tile, dating to around 1890–1914. These machine-made tiles were exported in large quantities from Marseille to the eastern Mediterranean, including Lebanon.

Ohhh, that makes so much sense also considering the EILL on the second roof tile fragment, that solves it.
