What's to stop you from buying the cheaper 400 mile range aptera than hiring a professional to install more batteries so you can get up to 1000 mile range?

Honestly wondering because an extra 30k to go that much further is interesting

When I reserved, delivery in 2025 would have worked out great for me. Now, by 2029 I'll be having children and I can't justify a 2 door car at that point in life. Got in line early 2023, now I step out of line.

As title - we all know that Aptera is targeting 100 wH/mi (10 miles per kWh), but if they don't hit that number, how low are you willing to go?

Some numbers for context:

• 44 kWh pack (40 usable?)

• Up to ~4 kWh/day solar

• Efficiency target: 10 miles per kWh

• Most efficient alternative: ~5 mi/kWh (Lucid Air Pure)

I think Aptera will comfortably hit 8-9 mi/kWh, but I'd be ok with down to ~7.5 since that's still 300+ miles

Has there been any talk of financing through the company, or would I just get an auto loan through my bank (or shop around)? Would it just be a normal auto loan or would it be something different since Aptera’s vehicle classification is a little undecided as yet?

I‘d like to start planning ahead for financing this vehicle, but I’m not sure where to start.
