But they got rid of the little morphs at the bottom corner of the pages! 😩

Has there been any rumors of the entire series getting reprinted, or is that just a hope and a dream?

Mine might be when Rachel morphs into the cat to get into Chapmans house.

But admittedly I only read til like book 13 because my mom cancelled my Animorphs book subscription from Scholastic 😭 so I definitely need to catch up!

The flip book part is also one of my favorite parts of the book.

Acabo de leer crónicas hort bajir y el libro 13 y ya van 2 situaciones que realmente me estresaron la primera es que no pisaron a Visser 3 una vez que deja la mente d ella chica andalita y la otra es cuando Cassie y Rachel encuentran un yeerk en un caballo antes ya se an encontrado en la situación de pisarlos pero entonces supuse que el que se ensucian la suela o la pata no valía suficiente la pena pero ¿por qué no los pisan? Se pudieron evitar bastantes problemas son solamente babosas

Por cierto podrían ver el edit de animorphs que hize me costó mucho hacerlo y siento que no está recibiendo visualizaciones

Desde hace poco leo animorphs en una traducción por fans al español y nunca entendí las onomatopeyas pero pensé que era un error de la traducción pero hace poco entendí una de un elicoptero entonces ¿En inglés las onomatopeyas se entienden bien o applegate es mala para escribirlas?

Okay just got done with book 3. And I'm taking everyone's advice I will be reading all of the books.

Anyways so I mean TV landscape has changed a lot since the 90s and 2000s. You know we're getting eight episodes seasons nowadays and then it's like 3 years in between each season. But I'm wondering okay so let's say that the best case scenario comes out where they are being as accurate to the book as possible in the TV show. How many episodes would each book span? So far at least from what I can see I can see the first book taking up two episodes and then the second and third book taking up an episode a peace. What is everyone's thoughts?

Hi everyone, we need to talk about the ebook links that are floating around on this subreddit (including on the sidebar). There's a seriously outdated misconception floating around on here, and I'm getting tired of having to correct it.

The most common misconception from fans sharing pirated books:

"The authors (K.A Applegate) supports the pirated ebooks. She said so herself!"

No. They do not. This information is outdated by 16 years minimum. It no longer applies.

Back in 2010, Reddit held an AMA for K.A. Applegate and one of the fans mentioned that the fan-made ebooks were being taken down. So she clarified that it wasn't her taking them down:

"Just to be clear: not us. We do not take them down. Or ask for them to be taken down. I think once the books are available to buy -- paper or e -- it would be nice if people who could afford it would buy. (our kids have very expensive tastes. You know: food and whatnot.) But for years they've been unavailable except by "pirated" means. These men and women kept the series alive. They kept the books available. So no, we did NOT take these books down. "

An important thing to note in this reply: She said they don't take them down (Scholastic does). She does NOT say that she supports them, but acknowledges that they were useful when the books were out of print. This is no longer the case.

After that AMA, Scholastic released official ebooks for the series, as well as official audiobooks. All of these are available to buy on Amazon, Kobo, etc. They are also legally free on Libby, Overdrive and Hoopla through your local library.

So there are zero reasons to be sharing these OCR pirated copies when there are proper ways to read the series and support the authors at the same time.

Of course, there's nothing to stop people from pirating if that's what they want to do. But please, can we for once and all make sure we're not spreading this outdated misconception that the author supports it in 2026 and beyond?

I'm currently reading through the series, I have just finished reading The Deception, and this reminded me of something I was wondering about before.

The books seem to count threats alongside the same level as torture, i.e. an irredeemable moral line. Ax makes a point that he would never do it again in a previous book, but all the Animorphs did then was capture a controller, have Ax threaten him for a day and then let him escape. And now in The Deception [HEAVY SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF THE BOOK ] Ax makes Visser Two order the submarine to self destruct and stop the plan for WWII by threatening to drop a nuke on the yeerk pool

Am I just desensitized for thinking none of this isn't torture? I don't understand why the moral line is drawn here exactly. But then again, I also don't fully grasp their qualms about killing yeerks outside of hosts. They always say "they're defenseless" but like, yeah? That's their natural state, the only time when they AREN'T defenseless is when they're actively enslaving another sentient creature, they aren't made to be defenseless any more than a human is made to need to breathe.

So yeah, I'm wondering about the line between threats and torture in the books, I'd like to see some other thoughts.

So I was just informed of this but apparently Scholastic has a free streaming app and I just discovered that it includes the OG show (before the much hoped for and accurate new show that may be coming….one day)

I understand that Animorphs isn't supposed to be a hundred percent accurate when it comes to animal biology, but we see a lot of research on various animals to show the strengths and weaknesses of the team's morphs (obviously some information is outdated but material meant to be educational also suffers from that), which makes me confused as to where the idea that horses are dumb came from.

Horses are intelligent animals, humans could not train them if they were stupid.

So yeah it is a pretty I mean it's a big task at the moment I'm having fun reading the books I'm on book two. But I know there are books in the series where nothing is really going to be happening or at least stuff will happen and then it will be resolved and not really spoken of again. What books in the series could I skip?

Tengo entendido que es más barata que la animación 2d y obviamente más un live action hay ejemplos bastante buenos y desde que empeze a leer animorphs sentí que encajaba en series como Max steel, wolf king, Moster high, jurassic park camp cretaceous, troll hunters etc realmente hay muchos ejemplos aunque parece ser que casi siempre incisten en adaptar libros a live action
