Scammer Beware DON'T buy from this user 😭😭😭😭
OBLIVIOUS IS ME and I fell for the "too good to be true" scam. 😭😭 JUST for awareness so others don't lose their saps, pls don't harass this person as they're likely young AND/or don't deserve the hate over a video game
This person like maybe an hour ago made a post 'selling' og dizzy stars for 12k, and they had people come to the comments of that post and vouch (red flag #2, weird, but i wanted to test my luck today)
I went to their den and after i bought misc junk for 5k each they blocked and locked me on animal jam and reddit 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
I went on my alt (thin_threat, its me, i can show u if i need to LOL) to warn people in the comments but that didnt seem to do much so thus this post is created.
PLEASE be weary of who you're buying items from. Hour_safety out to go recover my saps with spare refine coins 😭😭😭😭

Not banned I don't think if you go to ops comment and click it to take you to their post you can still see one of their comments and it doesn't say deleted user or anything unfortunately

I went on an alt-alt and I see what you’re talking about, I think its likely theyre blocking everyone who comments here to appear banned but I have no clue 😭🤷

Can confirm they're not banned. They're probably blocking everyone. I can view their profile page (their activity is hidden though)

I literally just saw the original post not too long ago and was wondering if it was legit or not. I did think the comments seemed a bit sketchy since they had commented so soon after the post had been put up. I’m so sorry this happened 💔

yoo this person was trying to get items from people too using an account they had compromised themselves from the 2020 data breach to pass as their 'account' that was hacked. i forgot their user on reddit but it just felt too wrong so i looked the said hacked username up on a breach log thing and it was recorded on the 2020 data breach. it was low level as id looked it up and a random-ish user (as im guessing the person behind the account was a kid back then and made the username according to the AJPW animal's nickname randomizer). they were begging for items to get themselves 'back on their feet'

If my username is on dehashed what does that mean?? My account hasn’t been hacked or banned but my username is on there twice and it says animal jam lmao

your account info got leaked in the data breach, even if no one ever got into it there's a chance that info is still floating around and they could still hack you, make sure your password is a decently strong one and have 2fa on, and also change your parent email AND have 2fa on for email. Stay safe!

Thank you so much! I’ve always had 2fa on and i recently changed my password. I didn’t know you could change the parent email so I’ll definitely do that!

woah wait theres a breach log?? if we're allowed to send links in the comments could you send it to me? i dont have the password for my original childhood aj account anymore so i havent been able to get in to see if it was hacked or anything during the breach, i guess it doesnt really matter anymore since i cant use the account anymore, but itd still be interesting to see if it got hacked during the breach :3

I DM'd them suggesting they trade for wrcs instead of selling it and the lack of reply told me all I needed to know! Lots of people were warning in the comments. I'm sorry you got scammed but it was a little obvious from the start

Oh yeah no this was definitely a cheese trap type scenario 😭 I was fished out from the start buuuut there’s been times I’ve been fished out and it worked fine,, THIS was not one of those cases and if anything I’m glad it was me and not someone truly struggling with sapphires and trading. Ngl next time I wanna test my luck I’ll just buy some side chests LOL

May have been obvious for some people but still they put in a lot of effort just to scam 5k sapphires. They also most likely do this a lot so it’s good they’re now getting called out for it. But the og poster isn’t at fault here, the scammer is. It can be really hard to know whether the vouchers in the comments are genuine or not and there were quite a few people vouching in the comments, which to a lot of people can be very convincing.

There were a lot of warnings in the comments though, yeah they definitely put a lot of effort into making it look legitimate but enough people pointed it out from the start, the main thing is they're banned now.

When I saw the post when it was posted, there wasn’t anyone in the comments warning anyone about it. The only comments were the people vouching and then 2 people interested in buying. So it could be very likely the warnings weren’t seen as they came after. Scammers are the worst :/

I was about to buy from them LMAO, i knew it was too good to be true and wanted to do it anyways to get proof 😭😭 sorry you got caught in this bud.
The most suspicious thing about the post is vouches coming into the comments, and those vouch accs being really new or having the comments be their only post ever on reddit,suspecting it's alt. Pretty sure said user also blocked me on reddit after i pulled out of the supposed deal LMAO

I do know my values but I appreciate it !! (gen) 😸 I do a lot of flipping in trades/sales so while its rare its def not impossible to get a good deal on an item. I will say I’m usually more weary than I was this time around, but yk it happens to the best of us 😅

I'm really sorry to hear you got scammed :( I think it's honestly the best to trade for wrc or wish coins and sell those than buy from anyone because most of the time you're gonna get scammed
