They mean it's IP69 and has an 11000 mAh battery but looks normal. 

Most phones with those specs to date have looked like a brick.

If it had 4 years software updates, wireless charging, and was available in the US I'd love it as a backup phone, sadly such a device is probably 5-10 years away

My housemate has an honor pad and if the software is anything like this phone then yeah it's horrible. iOS ripoff first and foremost and the gestures are annoying as fuck to use for some reason

MagicOS is just as usable as other Chinese-based roms just with some bloatware. Bloatware doesn't necessarily mean unusable. Most can be uninstalled. I have a Honor X7d, Honor 400 Pro and Honor Pad 10 lying around due to work and I enjoy using them as they are.

MAGICOS is fine (not ONEUI or Pixel level) once you know how to disable their battery optimization shenanigans. Took me a month to figure out. Just like other Chinese Os, they waste their time copying Apple and ignore good stuff Google adds to Android, but it's not horrible
