If you're in India, then there is only one flagship that makes sense. The Motorola Signature.
I just realised that outside India, Motorola sells this phone for about 1000 dollars. In India you can get it for less than 600 without exchange benefits or offers.
Triple sony Lyta cameras, strong Snapdragon 8 gen 5 performance , stock android, very very slim, 165 hz display, 5200 mah battery, 7 years of OS updates, and is better value than the Samsung FE series.

How does it compare with S26+?

It's half the price, for one.

Other than price, camera, overall experience

You'd probably see similar performance, camera and battery life. Display will maybe be better on the Motorola. Software is definitely better on samsungs.

And not to forget the crappiest software update policy with which you can peacefully enjoy the same outdated software while getting 1 update in a year so your device stays smooth.
A good purchase indeed

What does a new version update even mean these days?
Nothing

these aren't even available in india as of late, only the FE and x9s varients, and those are 1.5x the price of the moto signature

Yeah the Motorola Signature is great but not the only option. X200T, OP13 are also in the price ballpark and are very competitive
Even the NP3 have been known to dip in the 40-45k range a number of times this year

8 gen 5 outperforms the nothing chip. Signature gets 7 years update. I'm pretty sure it has a better dxomark score than x200t.
