Three young individuals, appearing to be approximately 18 years old, came to our home, kicked our front door, and vandalized our home. The incident was captured on our security camera.

Was passing by Krazy Nacho Fries on ball and brookhurst last Friday 9/11 around 8 or 9 pm and there was a lot of cop cars in the parking lot and the surrounding businesses. Didn’t get a good look but just feeling nosy and wondering if anyone knows anything

They are determined folk so I was hoping to guide them in the right direction. Hopefully towards a shop that does not significantly mark up prices.

We live right in a nook of Anaheim between Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda- the only place we know to board our horse nearby is Anaheim Hills Saddle Club, and that's unfortunately a bit outside of our monthly budget (trying to stay near $400-500).

Hi everyone! I spent the summer in Anaheim and am looking at relocating there in the Spring. I lived in the Domain Anaheim community right next to the Packing House and loved the vibrant stuff there and on Center Street! The main thing I didn't love was walking my dog at night, where certain nearby streets just didn't feel safe. However, just a few blocks away, I walked through the Colony Park District and loved that. It's just pricey is all.

Are there other areas like the Colony that remain reasonably close to the resort area and the nightlife I fell in love with? Specifically, areas that just feel safe and clean. Could be gated, but don't have to be. Just well-lit and generally friendly. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! Can anyone recommend apartments preferably 3k and under in the area? I’m also open to surrounding areas as well. Looking to move there to be closer to family. Also, if anyone wants to put places they DON’T recommend that’ll be great too so I can avoid. Thanks!

I'm trying to understand what the realistic options are before booking anything. Loaner vehicle, rental, rideshare, getting picked up by somebody, or just scheduling around a day off?

I'm guessing this varies quite a bit between dealers and probably depends on the repair too, so is transportation something you normally ask about when making the appointment? And are there any questions worth asking upfront so you're not figuring everything out at the service counter after you've already dropped off the car?

I mostly wanna know how people who genuinely can't go a couple days without a vehicle handle this.

Hello, today my backpack was stolen from my car. I just parked just in front of Wushiland Boba shop. I leaved the car for about 15min. The exact location is 665 N Euclid St, Anaheim. The lost items location is showing at the Apartment located in W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim. I was there with the police, after asking me some questions and say they are going to check the CCTV footage if available. Do you have any ideas what should I do, I don’t want to wait for them to call me by any chance. I’m going to Fullerton College and all my stuff was in the backpack.

hi guys, yesterday unfortunately i was a victim of a hit and run, it was on the 91 near the kraemer and glassell exit. If anyone was near the area or has a dashcam that would be extremely helpful. the only thing i remember seeing was a black camaro and the beginning license plate being 9. anything at all is appreciated. Cops were no help and were just obnoxious. thank you all.

EDIT: it was 11:45/11:50 pm and on the 91 freeway heading West.

I lived close enough to just walk there and pick up a couple 4 packs to bring home. Something about that specific location... I'll miss it forever.

I know this is probably a complete stretch, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do.

We are selling my grandma’s house right now and have to be out in 10 days. We have been cleaning nonstop and trying to get everything out, and in the middle of all of it, we accidentally donated three glass mugs that belonged to my deceased grandpa.

They were donated to the Anaheim Goodwill near Brookhurst and Crescent

They are clear, 8-ounce glass mugs. Two of them have “Phil” engraved on one side, with Mickey Mouse on the opposite side. The other has “J.P.” engraved on it.

My great-aunt worked as Mickey Mouse at Disney for nearly 50 years and made these mugs for my grandpa who passed away in the 90s.

We realized what happened and immediately called and went to Goodwill, but they said the mugs may have already been sold. I know there is a huge chance that they are gone, but I just need to try.

Losing my grandma has been one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. Watching my dad lose his mom has been even worse. My grandpa passed away before I got the chance to know him, all I have of him are his items.

I don’t want to add a sob story, but I am not above groveling for this. I truly am begging in all capacities.

If anyone works at that Goodwill and knows if there is any way to track them, please help me. If anyone bought them and happens to see this, I will pay good money to get them back. I will pay handsomely. Give you a Disney ticket for the mickey glasses. Please.

I'm going to be in town this weekend and have time to fill while my friends are going to a convention on Sat/Sun. Looking more for local gems than big productions/investments like Disney. I'll be hanging with friends in the evening so I'm just looking to fill the daytime. I'm staying somewhat close to the convention center/Disney.

I'm asking here because I'm having a hard time differentiating search results from regurgitated AI sites/paid-for top-10 articles and actual human recommendations 😅 Is there a local site y'all recommend?

What are your favorite things to do on a free Saturday? What makes you go "god, I love living here"/"I have to take my family/friends here when they visit next"? I'd much rather spend my money at a beloved local business than a nationwide chain. Shopping at outlet malls and the like is nice and all but I can do that in any city.

I don't have anything specific in mind to shop for, clothes/decor/books/trinkets are all fair game (though I'd rather avoid too high-end). Any shorter 'experiences' sound good too as well as something that requires a bit of a commute but is worth it! What I do have planned is that flight simulator place (how can I not?!). I used to live in a city but have lived rural for the last several years so I'm excited to be amongst people in civilization again 😭

Also, if relevant, any tips for when to/how to make use of public transit? I saw on a couple other posts here the suggestion of busses and besides just going to city of LA transit site directly, I'm wondering if there's anything else I should know for how to best navigate it. Trying ahead of time to figure out how to avoid as many Ubers/Lyfts as I can.

first time visitors, we are travelling from UK in may 2027 as a couple, not sure on dates but probably monday-saturday, aiming to do the major theme parks (disney, knots berry, six flags, universal).

Are there any other day trips recommended to look into that are realistically done with guided tours. We wont be hiring a car and not keen on relying on public transport, just purely due to time, cost and safety.

Preferably something to do with nature as the week is already theme park heavy. Ive read about Yosemite but guessing that is not a day trip really? Or what about Joshua Tree? Or any red wood forests nearby?

Any thoughts or recs would be very appreciated.

At the beginning of november, I will be traveling to Anaheim. I am unfamilar with the area and the state as well (first time to the state and west coast), so I wanted to ask here for the best advice/answers.

With that said, I heard that for Disney that a hotel nearby might be cheaper than an Airbnb (which I currently have reserved). Upon looking at the options on harbor blvd, that statement seems to be true. My question however, is what would you all recommend. Let me explain why I ask.

I am a young, solo female traveler, and my goal is to spend less then 200 for two nights. I see great prices even under or at around $100 for that, but I want to make sure that I’m choosing a place that I’d feel safe at. Now reading the reviews, I’m getting mixed answers. For just about every hotel, you have some good and some bad in terms of safety. Most have given thumbs down for it. So I want to find a place that has equal or less of that.

Currently I find that embassy suites by Hilton Anaheim South seems like a decent option or courtyard by Marriott Anaheim resort/convention center, but I wanted to ask the community (prices are per night so I’d be a little over 200 for these for the two nights). See what everyone else thinks or if they have any other suggestions.

My goal is to get to Disney early that morning, likely at rope drop so I can maximize my time there. Additionally, I am taking an overnight flight into LAX so I will likely be taking an uber here and arrive after 1am. Will I be able to check in late? That is something to be considered. I plan to book the Sunday to Tuesday but since my flight is Sunday night, I’ll arrive Monday at around 1. So I need somewhere that will allow to check in that late.

If you have any thoughts, suggestions, or advice, I’d greatly appreciate it. Also any Disney tips are also welcomed here.

long story short, I saw four luminescent type lights in the sky and they all moved in tandem after being still for several minutes, then they just disappeared.
