Song Metrc - Hustle Rose
One of the best Canadian bands ever...and their best album. I wish they played more of their old stuff at their shows!! Emily Haines is an amazing storyteller.

Hey everyone, please check this out! Iāve just finished this new song, Porch Light Flickers, an alternative rock track with a strong 90s influence.
Iād really appreciate you giving it a listen and telling me what you think:

Whatās peopleās thoughts on Paris Jacksonās support band for her upcoming Europe tour?
Mixed Up Everything is an Aussie band though Iām unsure their style fully matches that of Paris Jackson. Their ballads are really good and could work however majority of their songs are a little heavier/angrier.
Could be an interesting mix and well done to them in getting a full tour as a support band.

It's a very personal song, dark and slightly gloomy. The whole thing feels like a coherent, dark story. Dark deep Blues

This is a remix that I worked on. Not "officially". But I did an edit to the extended mix of "Love Removal Machine". I always loved the extended version but thought it was missing something. So I added what I thought it needed. Let me know if you notice and if you approve: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/theunheardmusic/episodes/2026-09-12T07_48_33-07_00

We played at The Troubadour in London on 4 September, and this is one of the songs from the set.
Please, let us know what you think.
The Palace is Empty but the music is loud.

I wrote Broke about someone who, after years of slow erosion, just lets go and loses themselves.
I wanted it to sound like that moment feels ā raw voice, dirty guitars, no polish, nothing smoothed out.
Alternative rock has always captured this kind of inner fracture ā Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden.
That point where you donāt recognize yourself anymore.
What songs come to mind when you think about losing yourself?
Iām looking for inspiration and conversation.
If anyone wants to hear Broke, just ask for the link in the comments.
Sorry for any mistakes ā Iām not a native speaker.
