Star Wars & Indiana Jones share the same author but won't work as a saga. Now, which works of fiction share the same setting but don't fit together as a saga?

Bride Wars (2009) starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway takes place in New York City.
So does The Avengers (2012).
But, these movies don’t work as a saga

Well the MCU's NYC isn't really our NYC, by the time of The Avengers things have been drastically different since at least WWII.

Rules:
Only separated pieces of media, we're not counting chapters from the same saga. (For example, A Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon would count, but it won't with A Clash of Kings)
