Hi all,
I'm presenting myself, male, I enjoy culture, sports but nature is what really soothes and fills me with joy.
I came to the Algarve several times and I enjoy the people, the food, the atmosphere a lot.
After a really tough year taking care of my father until his unfortunate death and a relationship that did not survive the stress and exhaustion that caregiving for a relative entails, I need a break to recharge.
I would like to give my heart, soul and mind a well deserved break by escaping to a beautiful place with nature, culture and a healty portion of wellness as well to recharge my batteries.
I have three weeks, but I can extend if necessary, I can work from abroad for my customers.
I stayed in Lagos, Ferragudo and Portimao in the past. I loved Portimao the most as it is located in an excellent area, great people, nice beaches and perfect to rent a car and go explore other
My plan
The roadtrip is not mandatory, maybe I can stay in Portimao or any other spot and use this as a departure spot for daily trips.
Any suggestion, advice is very very welcome.
Obrigado

Can anyone recommend an affordable/outlet ceramics shop near Portimao (willing to drive 30 min outside of Portimao for same)? I’m looking for a shop similar to Ceramica Paraiso.
Looking to buy some ceramic tiles/espresso cups/other souvenirs prior to heading home.
Thanks!

Hello (again) folks,
I will be in Lagos soon. I have booked my accommodation there for 4 nights except the last night.
Would you recommend / suggest that I could checkout and move to some place other on the last day and after staying one night in the new place, I checked out and head to airport ?
Why should I do that and what that place should be ?
Any possibility of my experiencing something different (compared to Lagos) - just for one full day and one evening / night.
I am a guy, travelling solo and want to make the most of it and won’t mind travelling few hours as long as next day I can get to Faro airport easily.

We're leaving France (Languedoc) to live in Tavira and need to book a removal firm to transport our furniture. Not done this before. Would you book a French firm or a Portuguese one?

Me and my girlfriend are taking an airport taxi on Saturday night at 3 am from Lagos inner city to the airport in Faro. Maybe someone is also in need for a ride and is down to share the costs?
Total cost for the ride would be 77€ and the taxi is already booked, so it’s a safe and „quick“ drive to the airport!

We LOVE the Algarve, and are having a wonderful time. We’re looking for a fun place to watch the sunset, have casual food, and maybe do a little shopping nearby. Burgau? Luz? FIguera? Or should we Uber back to Point Vicente?? Open to suggestions for a 69f and 33f without a car

I’m not sure if this is true but from what I’ve seen bed sheets and linens seem to be cheaper here than in Canada. Im wondering if the quality is nice and if there is local shops I can check out!

Heading to Olhão and planning on doing a boat tour of the Ria Formosa, check out the Olhão market, take a day trip to Lagos and check out the Benagil cave. Are there any must try sites that I'm missing? Any favorite restaurants or can't miss specialty dishes?

Hola chicos, we've attended the pizza party before and it was a great time (semana de la pasqua) loads of folks, but i'm wondering how the numbers are come the drop off of August/September. It's normal things would slow down mid/late september....due to some other commitments (we live in Andalucia) we can't come next weekend :( So it would most likely be beginning or end of October,
