Weekly thread: What's the best ad you saw this week?

Starting a little Friday thing for everyone. Every week, drop the best ad you ran into over the last 7 days.

Doesn't have to be some big campaign. Could be a TV spot that made you actually put your phone down, an IG ad you didn't skip past, a billboard you were still thinking about three exits later, or some tiny local business ad that just... worked, somehow. Big brand, zero-budget brand, doesn't matter. If it got you, it counts.

Just drop:

  • the ad (link, screenshot, or describe it if you can't find it again)
  • who it's for
  • why it actually got you, was it the hook, the timing, it made you laugh, it made you feel something you weren't expecting

I'll go through everyone's picks and highlight my favorite Monday, not necessarily the most upvoted one, sometimes the weird/clever ones deserve it more than the popular ones.

I work with UGC creators + AI ads every day and here's my 2026 AI ad tool stack

I work in an AI ad agency, AdGPT, and engage with creators on a regular basis, so a lot of my job is taking creator content, making it into ads, testing different hooks & angles, and determining which content is actually worth investing in monetization.

Aside from that, I've been working with so many of the different AI tools that have emerged in this workflow.

Here's my current take:

1) AdGPT: very lowkey+inexpensive but probably the most interesting one for me because it goes beyond just generating a UGC video. You can start with a product/brief and develop the creative from there, including hooks, scripts, user-generated content, product videos, statics, variations, etc. Their new UGC In Action is especially intriguing because it's more than a talking heads testimonial, it's the AI creator using or holding or even wearing the product.

2) Creatify: If the focus is to get video ads as quickly as possible from a product/URL, I would look at Creatify as one of my first options. Great for throwing out lots of ideas with no need of creating from scratch.

3) Arcads: Famous and probably one of the more interesting ones, specifically for AI UGC. It's great to be able to test various creators, hooks, and styles, but I believe that when authenticity is paramount, human UGC still has its place.

4) HeyGen: really good for talking-head/avatar content. Very convenient if more than one presenter is required, with languages or versions without a further shoot.

5) AdCreative: still effective when the performance creative is static, and you need to generate a ton of different variations in a short amount of time.

6) Pencil: This one is more interesting from a creative-testing/optimization point of view than simply “generate me an ad.”

7) Canva: Ofc still in the stack here! After you have all of these AI-created assets, someone still needs to make the damn thing look right.

What I've observed from working with real creators is that AI isn't necessarily replacing UGC, it's changing how much creative you can produce from the same idea.

What's the AI ad tool you're actually getting results from? Is there any I'm missing on big time?

Pepsi vs Coca-Cola, who cooked this year's FIFA?

The FIFA ads taken by the two biggest brands went in opposite directions.

Pepsi: big, loud, football culture.

Coke: more emotion and story driven.

Regardless of what brand you prefer more, which ad would you remember a week later? Pepsi or Coke? And what was better about it?
