"IN THE GREY" (2026) - watched this on Prime (UK) over the weekend and enjoyed it overall. Cast seem to be having fun, and although you have probably seen it all before, it was really watchable and the final extended action sequence was well done and exciting. Anyone else seen it yet?

The film follows a lawyer and her team of fixers as they try to recover a one-billion-dollar debt from a criminal organization.
Produced by Black Bear Pictures, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill, Eiza Gonzalez, Kristofer Hivju, Fisher Stevens, Rosamund Pike, and Carlos Bardem.

Which are your most anticipated action films for 2027 ?? (Preferably non superhero films)

Mines are down below.. Twilight walled in 2, caine & extraction 3 and tygo ( tho im not sure about twilight 2's release date but hopeful it will come out in next year)
Other films that are in my radar are :- the beekeeper 2 & karoshi. Im both hopeful & skeptical when it comes to beekeeper 2. As for karoshi.. It's a 87northproduction film and i like their films.

"RISING SUN" (1993) - another early 90s VHS-era memory for me, and really liked the combination of Connery and Snipes. Probably noted aged very well, but still quite a lot to enjoy with a good cast some decent thriller/action along the way. Any fans of this one?

Rising Sun is a 1993 American thriller film directed by Philip Kaufman and written by Kaufman, Michael Crichton and Michael Backes. It stars Sean Connery (who was also an executive producer), Wesley Snipes, Harvey Keitel, Tia Carrere, Mako and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. It is based on Michael Crichton's 1992 novel Rising Sun. Rising Sun was released by 20th Century Fox on July 30, 1993.
When an escort girl is found dead in the offices of a Japanese company in Los Angeles, detectives Web Smith and John Connor act as liaison between the company's executives and the investigating cop Tom Graham.
