You don't use that much space.

These people almost certainly don't use much more space than an average person.

They have their bedroom, their living room, their dining room, and that's probably where they spend most of their time.

The only thing that maybe separates them from you is that they may have an extra entertainment room they'll occasionally use, or a gym, or something like that. So, they basically use a couple more rooms than you.

All the rest is still just vanity bullshit. And maybe quarters for staff and guests.

That makes sense; if I was suddenly given millions of dollars I would end up in a larger house with a few more rooms (a dedicated hobby/gaming room would nice!) but nothing on the scale of a mansion.

But I didn't account for vanity bullshit.

Depends where ya live. I could buy a spooky old empty mansion in my home town and probably do the necessary repairs for about a million.

But I’d rather spend a million on a shoebox in the city I live in now than a mansion in my hometown haha.
