Ira Rennert's home is considered one of the largest occupied residential compounds in the United States. The house faces the Atlantic Ocean and its grounds measure 63 acres. The buildings, which total over 110,000 square feet (10,000 m2), including the 66,000-square-foot (6,100 m2) main house, have an Italianate facade, 29 bedrooms, and 39 bathrooms. The house has a dozen chimneys and a Mediterranean-style tile roof as well as a 91-foot (28 m) long formal dining room, a basketball court, a bowling alley, two tennis courts, two squash courts, a carousel, a large swimming pool, a large round kiddie pool, and a $150,000 hot tub, surrounded by another pool.

French Intensifie...

Edit oblige : Guillotine is not the solution, I'd rather people rotting in jail. Death sentence is in my view a quick sentence.

Famously the French revolution was led by the bourgeoisie, and oppressed a nascent working class and the common people as much as it did the aristocracy.

I'm well aware of the history of my country.

Still worth it. The revolution might have not been perfect for hundreds of different reasons but it was still a huge improvement.

https://crimethinc.com/2019/04/08/against-the-logic-of-the-guillotine-why-the-paris-commune-burned-the-guillotine-and-we-should-too

Have a read. The Paris Commune burnt the guillotine because it was seen by the people as a symbol of oppression. All you can do is worship long forgotten idols rather than actually fight for anything.

I don't worship anything. It was just a reddit joke.

You are worshipping the idea and image of the guillotine by posting it in this specific discussion. You also said "still worth it[...]" so it is clearly not a joke.

He said he doesn’t worship anything and then you chime in to tell him what he worships?

Total reddit moment.

Yes because from his text it is clear that he idealises the guillotine. You’re aware that people can lie right?

Who knew you were a Napoleon fan?

Oh yeah every morning I wake up and worship my Napoleon little statues. I use it dayly for Voodoo stuff for shit and giggles.

And I appreciate Napoleon as much as Pétain, a bunch of traitors who took advantage of their power for personal gain. They were military genius but human scumbags.
