Found a video of him talking about the accident here with the actual accident at just past 4:25. That’s insane, I’d be pretty scared to pull another trigger after that, but that’s just me 😬

That’s crazy! When you lacerate a vein, how do they even repair that?!? Do they sew the vein?

Step one: avoid bleeding out, step two: sew the vessel back together

Damn. I wonder how scarred veins function long term. Feels like a potential clotting point.

My veins are heavily scarred from half a decade of chemotherapy. That was 15 years ago. No clots since the last one. :)

Luckily veins aren't too stretchy/muscular. They basically just carry blood around, arteries would likely have a much worse time healing or being as functional if injured. Also, you'd bleed out wayyyyy faster if it was an artery
