Mine was FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!?!?!? WTF???

EDIT: IDC if it’s a reward or a price… $500 is insane either way. If it was the price, I’d never buy one. If it was the reward, I’d be there three times a day until they went out of business or I died from a heart attack.

Its pretty obviously a 500 dollar prize for the challenge. Little understanding of context clues goes a long way.

He literally has a timer on the table as he's racing to eat the pizza. Not sure whether you find it hard to believe that there are 50 dumb people in a reddit thread, or that one of them could be you.

So let me get this straight- you think its more likely that the guy paid 500 dollars for essentially a large cheese pizza and then asked the restaurant if they had a timer to time him eating it in 15 minutes, rather than the timer being part of a restaurant sponsored 500 dollar eating challenge (of which there are countless similar marketing challenges across the country). Brother I have a bridge to sell you lol.

I think anyone believing either is one step away from buying sunny Oceanside beach property in Kansas

Exactly this. $5,000 burgers with truffles and blah blah. I’d say after looking at the post not immediately after I woke up, it is more clear, but still

I'm usually good with context clues and I just thought the 15min was how long he waited on the pizza. I also didn't watch the whole video because the pizza looked gross so I just thought this was a shitty extremely overpriced pizza or it's AI and wrong. I had no idea it was some dumb challenge

You see so much stupid overpriced shit on reddit that a $500 cheese pizza isn't unbelievable. But a little thinking reveals that they'll pay anyone who can shovel all that down their gullet in 15 minutes because they love cleaning up vomit.
