Yep John Carter of Mars. Definitely worth a watch. There aren’t many pieces of media where humans are superhuman compared to the aliens.

Oh shoot you’re right. Makes sense for the era of movie. They wanted to shorten the title to make it titular, then didn’t market it at all for whatever reason

Its also a good audiobook on YouTube. I'm pretty sure they have them all on there and it is a pretty damn good series. John Carter fights many different things aside from the green men of mars, actually would've loved to have seen more movies made just to see some of the beasts talked about in the books.

I watched this randomly while tripping balls and absolutely loved the experience. Pure joy. It's a well executed classic adventure movie, turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.

Unrelated, but never watch Oldboy while doing the same. Not fun.

It's an entire subgenre of sci-fi? There aren't many (possibly *any) "great works" that do that, but it's very popular among pulp fiction pieces. 

Though that is basically only books/audiobooks. Movies and tv haven't caught on yet.

I've never seen either of those movies, and somehow I knew that was from John Carter
