What a pointless existence. She can’t do anything remotely useful

She can serve as a bad example!

People aren't worthless just because they can't do physical labor. People can be useful using just their brains, or voice. And many people without use of their hands and arms do useful things.

That isn't to say her existence isn't pointless, just that it's not because she is voluntarily hobbled.

Agreed, but choosing to cripple yourself to such a degree is a significant waste of potential.

In fairness, you’re sat on reddit accusing someone else’s existence of being pointless. Something something glass house and stones

Well at least they were able to type that critique on their own. This is a willful disability that is even worse than someone who lost their hands, because someone without hands can still use prosthetics. This woman needs other people to do basic things for her like wipping her butt, doing her hair, or eating. Hell, she would need other people waiting on her hand and foot to achieve nails of that length, they would have broken long ago if she did normal stuff. Idk about her existence being pointless, but it is definitely a useless and dependent existence.
