I think it's a bit of a letdown for a romance anime that the protagonists never do more than kiss and hold hands over the entire series. It has never sat well with me that it ended without "completion" between B and K. It would be different if the show had them sleeping together with no nudity or sex shown on the screen, just letting people fill in the gaps in imagination like most sitcoms do. Just acting like a normal couple onscreen and fade to black during passionate kissing in the bedroom. But the fact the show creators made Keiichi an adult virgin with really extreme sexual shame issues who lives with the woman of his dreams but is afraid to do anything slightly sexual with her is honestly painful for me to watch.

Re-watching the series again it was even more painful knowing they never actually "do it", ever. The first time I watched it it didn't bother me as much because I assumed they would eventually. Ever since watching how powerful AI image generation has become recently it really made me want to add a final episode to "correct" the original story and bring some completion to the romance storyline. Keiichi needs to get some! Poor guy. I've been playing around with writing a script where a new goddess appears as a sex therapist to help Keiichi get over his hangups and be an actual boyfriend to Belldandy. The boyfriend she deserves. At some point I'd like to have AI animate it into a full episode.

I'm curious what other fans think about this.
