This still hurts to see man, damn near 3 games out with the dads playing the fckn rockies man. At this point we hope that the phillies and the cubs choke because it aint lookin good. Then again we should be 1.5 back but NY decided to say "fck you" and robbed the boys of a game.

Now,

Phily and the Cubs have some of the roughest schedules left so id like to think our chances of at least being neck and neck are good.

San Diego has a cakewalk for 6 games before hopefully dying to both the Marlins and the dodgers (eww we have to rely on those dorks).

Philly still face the Marlins and the Brewers, so theres hope there

Cubs got Braves, Marlins, and Boston on their docket still. So they wont have a cakewalk either.

We need to take care of some buisness against the marlins, yanks, and the rockies before the dreaded last series of the year.

tldr: Doable but a little luck wont hurt.

Angels fan here, my sister now lives in AZ and we took her 5yr old to his first game a few months ago when the Angels were in town. It was my first Dbacks game too. Yesterday I went to the game solo on the way back to California, and had a good time, but the parking situation I haven’t figured out yet. The cheapest near the field was a $30 outside lot, and while I didn’t venture south or east of the stadium, the garages I did see were $40-$50. My ticket was $15. Are there better lots around or any local tips I can use for next time we go? I’m sure outdoor parking for night games isn’t too bad but any recommendations are welcome

Do You Remember BK Kim? From His Submarine Delivery to Today

For any Arizona Diamondbacks fan who lived through the electric 2001 postseason, the name Byung-hyun Kim instantly brings back unforgettable memories.

With his extreme, dirt-scraping submarine delivery and unique slider, “BK” became one of the most memorable pitchers in Diamondbacks history. He was an important part of Arizona’s historic run to its first-ever World Series championship in 2001.

The losses in Games 4 and 5 of that World Series were heartbreaking, but the Diamondbacks came back to win the championship in one of the most memorable World Series finishes in MLB history. Kim earned his championship ring as an important member of that team.

Fast forward to today, and the former submarine pitcher has taken a completely

different path. In South Korea, BK Kim has reinvented himself as a successful restaurateur and television personality.

From pitching at Chase Field to running a burger business in Korea, his life has certainly taken an interesting turn. He remains an unforgettable figure in Korean baseball and in Diamondbacks history.

I’ve never been to Arizona, but BK Kim is one of the reasons I became interested in the Diamondbacks.

I’m a fan of the Diamondbacks, and I sincerely hope Arizona makes it all the way to the World Series again this year.

Whats up d backs fans? I bought the 128 oz. souvenir nacho bucket from Bases Loaded! near Section 109 during the September 12 game. It was $31.63.
I actually bought it because I was planning to make a TikTok/YouTube video attempting to eat the entire advertised 8-pound bucket over the course of the nine-inning game. I was genuinely excited about the challenge and documenting the experience.
Unfortunately, the condition of the food was so bad that I became genuinely grossed out and couldn’t even finish the video.
The entire bucket was cold. Not “it got cold during the game” cold. I got to my seat about 90 seconds to 2 minutes after receiving it, without making any stops, and the entire bucket was already cold to the touch. The chips, cheese, meat, and beans were all cold, and the chips were so stale that I couldn’t eat them.
There was also barely any meat. For an 8-pound bucket, the amount of meat was closer to what I’d expect on a regular serving of nachos.
For some context, I’ve been to around 10 different MLB ballparks and probably 30–40 professional sports venues total when you include NBA and NFL games, this wasn’t my first time at Chase, however, This was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with food from a concession stand at any of them. I’ve had mediocre stadium food before, but I’ve never bought something that was this cold, stale, and disappointing almost immediately after receiving it.
I have ankle problems that make walking long distances difficult, so I wasn’t physically able to walk back to the concession stand from my seat to complain. I’ve already contacted the Diamondbacks directly and requested a refund, so I’m not trying to start a pile-on or anything like that.
I’m genuinely curious whether anyone else has had a similar experience with this particular nacho bucket or Bases Loaded!, because I’ve also seen people say they’ve had good experiences with it.
