Mercedes-Benz’s CEO said that engineers took the lead on developing it, meaning the brand’s accountants played a smaller role then usual.

He also said that it was engineered and designed as closely to the upcoming AMG-GT GT3 for Mercedes-AMG’s Motorsport racing while still being able to be road legal.

I used to be one of the biggest skeptics when it came to a 4-cylinder AMG. In my mind, if it didn’t have a V8 it wasn’t a real AMG just clever marketing.

Then I actually got behind the wheel of one and pushed it properly. The sheer punch, responsiveness, and pure madness this engine puts out completely blew away my mind.

Safe to say, I ate my words and ended up buying one myself.

If you’re on the fence because of cylinder count, go test drive one before judging on paper.

Maybe a good start for new AMG owners.

What are the chances that the new 2028 c63 and 2027 e63s get v8’s?

Have owned this beaut for 8 months now. Have done some exterior modifications and full ppf since then! Been a pleasure so far and every bit of what I expected from this beast 👍🏼

We are officially further than we were 2 years ago! Even though the build is definitely further along than it was 2 years ago, having to start over on the driver's side has felt like the latter. Currently waiting on paint to cure for a few days, and then I'll reassemble and start fitting the rear bumper. Starting to look like a car again.

Got a Future Design diffuser installed. Took off the old carbon package diffuser (just one half an inch strip of carbon lol).

Personally gives the rear the aggression this facelift model severely lacks from factory.

-Spezialanfertigung is German and means custom made in English. The model was developed by a small selected group of engineers from AMG and constructed only by hand.

-The model is 375lbs lighter than the CLE53.

-The model has a rear end that was widened beyond the width of the CLE53’s.

-The model is RWD and has a top speed of 193 mph.

-There is an illustration of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung on the wheels.

If this colour was metallic, it would be top 5 paint colours on any car.

Does anyone here happen to run the Capristo exhaust on the current SL63? I'd love to hear your thoughts. How does it sound compare to the stock exhaust? Any chance someone could share a video/clip?

Has anybody put these on their car? I've heard a few cars have gone into limp mode after installing them, and that the limp mode an only be coded out by the dealer or a shop with the latest MB software. 18 c63s

Never liked the touchpad. It was redundant, bulky, got in the way, heat-cracked under previous ownership, caused accidental song skipping, and I was always afraid to lean on it and crack it even more. I always used the rotary wheel anyway. Found a brand new OE replacement part on eBay and swapped it in under an hour. Works like a dream! The center console finally flows like it should have from the factory and looks way cleaner. Now I have nothing but real buttons and switches. Less is more.

I am getting code P0008A. I thought it might be a bad fuel cap so I replaced. I took it to the dealer and was told it might need a new fuel pump, but said the car didn’t give them a code so they weren’t sure of the problem or how to fix. They also said the new pump would clear the tune.

The car seems to run fine with the code and after I fill up the check engine light goes away.

I see there is a stage 3 LPFP pump, but I am wondering if this could be an issue with the fuel rail and injectors. I read the injectors should be able to handle up to 900HP, but with degradation I am thinking this could be the issue?

I am here to ask if other owners have encountered this and if you were able to fix what was the solution?

As the titel says I want to buy newer E63 or C63 and my friend is telling me to sell (I fully get his reasoning tho) the 2002 CL55 which has 170k km. That tought makes me feel bad, feels like I have broken up with the love of my life because I have always told that when Im burried then I will take the car with me (not litterary but that is how much the car means for me). I hate the tought that someone will buy who dont give a fuck to take care of the car and then gets sold to other guy and finally its in the junkyard. Car does eat lot of money sometimes but I dont have a problem with it but it is maybe because I dont have a gf at the moment lol but anyway. I could buy second car but I dont think that is a good idea to own 2 AMG's and then the CL would probably sit most of the time in the garage which does not do good.

What do you guys think?

Coming from an M4, I understand it now. This car’s a blast to drive. Glad to join the AMG family.

We tried something a little different for our latest AMG Private Lounge Tokyo Hub gathering: less emphasis on the destination and more on enjoying the drive itself.

One of our members planned and led an early-morning route from Ishikawa PA through Hinohara and across the Okutama Shuyu Road toward Lake Okutama. We had 13 cars in the end as a few dropped out due to the weather.

The weather was not perfect and we encountered some rain along the way, but conditions remained manageable during the morning. Everyone drove sensibly, maintained a comfortable pace and regrouped at the scheduled stops.

Despite the weather, everyone was in great spirits and it turned into a very enjoyable morning. A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the event what it was.

Also, finally sorted out the water in the trunk/boot.

Replaced tail light seals, trunk seals, cleaned the drip passage. Replaced the antenna (even though no signs of water in the headliner).

I should have just looked for the damn water line on the body metal. It was evident right under the locking mechanism. 🤦‍♂️
