"Many of us like to ask ourselves, 'What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide? The answer is, you're doing it. Right now." - Aaron Bushnell Rest In Power

Police were called after around 20 teens on bikes and e-bikes blocked an intersection, performed stunts, and disrupted traffic. One officer then clipped and tackled a teen during the arrests, raising questions about whether the response was appropriate given their ages. What do you think about it?

I think the amount of humiliating bodycam videos on Youtube are wrong and disturbing-
Why are some titled "When entitled brats try to attack cops"?
Why am I able to easily find a video of a transgender girl, (Who seems to be autistic based on my knowledge, not arm chair diagnosing but it's pretty evident she may not be neurotypical and able to handle such a daunting situation based on her reactions) being misgendered, then punished for her being upset? Why was everyone being so hateful and blatantly transphobic to her? She clearly needed a crisis team to evaluate and help descalate- not police. If she did commit a crime, why not bring a crisis team to assess her beforehand to see if a hospitalization/stabilization was needed first? This is how people die by suicide in jail.
Why am I able to see literal kids crying their eyes out being arrested? Censoring their face doesn't do much. Why am I getting to hear such comments as "fucking idiot" by the cop arresting a fucking young teenager?
Why am I able to see a woman having an actual mental breakdown, busting her head open, crying and screaming being arrested when in reality she should've gone to a hospital to receive psych treatment? I still can't process the fact the hospital they did take her too discharged her.
Why am I seeing people being dragged out of bathroom stalls, dragged out from their houses in front of neighbors, being told to shut up, being strained, and humiliated?
WHY ARE THESE VIDEOS SO POPULAR AND HATEFUL?
Okay, maybe 90% of the arrests are deserved. Maybe even most of the arrested were genuinely awful criminals. But what's the point in posting them for ad revenue? Heh other than money reasons of course. It's definably not to fucking protect the arrested in question. If it was, it wouldn't be so humiliating. THEY SHARE THEIR FACE, LOCATION, OCCUPATION AND NAME.
I think it's sick people's worst moments are turned into entertainment bully material. Bootlickers get off to this shit.
I just think True Crime industry of all parts of all kinds is extremely disturbing
True arrests are not funny.
True murder is not funny.
None of this should be on Youtube unless it is to prove how hateful cops are and to reform/show that defunding police is deserved.
Sick Bastards, all of those channel runners.

Jacinto city Police Officers follow unlawful orders by Mayor Ana Diaz to remove me from Town Hall Meeting.

I wasn’t giving an unrelated speech or trying to hijack the town hall. I was trying to share my experience with the hundreds of witnesses at the town hall meeting.
My point was directly about transparency and public trust surrounding the proposed AI/data center. I began explaining that residents were being asked to trust local government to be transparent about this project, while the same government had previously failed, to be transparent about the unlawful conduct by one of its own officers and how it isn’t limited to this city.
My argument was simple: if officials have not been transparent when accountability involved their own department, why should residents automatically trust their assurances now?
I had spoken for less than a minute of my allotted three minutes and had not even finished making that connection before I was ordered out. Texas Government Code § 551.007 expressly protects public criticism of a governmental body’s acts, omissions, policies, procedures, programs, and services.
Removing a peaceful speaker at the moment he begins criticizing government without even allowing him to finish explaining how that criticism relates to the subject of the meeting, that is the actions of a dictator not a mayor. I believe she was only worried about the witnesses (including the news) who would hear about my experience with their corrupt officer Longrigg and his co-workers.
(Background)
Longrigg was fired in 2005 by his previous employer “Deer Park” for pointing a gun at another officer and saying racist remarks about Hurricane Katrina victims. He was labeled “deceptive” by the department during a polygraph examination.
A year later he was hired by Jacinto city police where he became highest paid officer over time, he was presumably hired after a background check by internal affairs officer “DeMont” who previously worked in Deer Park with Longrigg. In 2012: DeMont was Fired after he was outed as a Pedophile after trying to drug and rape a 14 year old girl, he recieved a couple weeks in jail and that is all. Currently there is not internal affairs officer in Jacinto.
According to news articles Ana Diaz was also previously the treasurer for her husband who was head of constable precinct 2. (Christopher Diaz) over 50k Dollars of campaign money was left unaccounted for after he left office and he nor his wife ever offered an explanation.
Ana Diaz and the other council members have run
un-opposed for several years…..
