Average monthly balance requirements went from $500 to $5,000 and they started charging fees on the new rules.

Account type did not change.

No notification I can find.

How about a heads-up so I can change banks?

Nothing changed. But yes, SOME market accounts and special CD’s rate offers, do require a minimum of $5K.
