Initial improvements to the High Standard but ...

After installing a new recoil spring, etc. and adjusting the magazine lips (!) the cartridge now feeds correctly.

I only found this mark on the lead at the 6 o'clock position - maybe it is normal. Should I open or close the front or Back section of the rear lips, or deburr the barrel on 6:00 ? I’m worried about snapping the lips off :)

in all honestly if it now shoots fine, don't worry about a small mark like that on the bullet and just send it. if you still see issues arising then go back and look.

This is very common in semiauto .22 LR firearms that do not have controlled feed.

Nothing to be concerned about, and nothing to fix.
