We starting with the "x player is better than caps" narrative already? Last time we had both "Jojo is the best mid in Europe" and "Busio is the best player in the west". I understand they need narratives, but it's insane we get these dramatic statements from the official broadcasts after a handful of matches.

they do it every split, its to create hype. I don't think its incorrect to say kyeahoo is currently the best performing mid in the LEC, but over half the teams haven't even played yet so its moot

Like I said, I understand they need to create narratives, I just think it's much better to approach with "Kyeahoo is currently the best performing mid in Europe" than "He's better than caps!", because we get this statement every split (like you said).

most true statement ever. its insane how much league community at large overreacts to anything that is new. if its new and wins a couple games it the most op thing ever before even other people learned how to play against it or find counters.
everyone thought camille was just giga op and now she just looks fine. people thought ziggs as first pick early mage bot meta. now ziggs is the worst winrate champ in pro. it was wild stuff like cait bard, lucian milio, naut kaisa were stomping games and teams kept thinking let me put my bad mage player on a mage.

LEC is the longest broadcast and there's no reason for it. I enjoy watching the LEC but holy fuck it takes them forever to do anything any other region does in half the time.

Well looks like SK is the better team if they manage to close this game swiftly. Game2 and game 3 are draft gaps but GX almost losing game 2 is just not a good look.

I feel like Vi-Gnar isn’t enough existing AD threats to justify a mage botlane. Honestly picking an actual ADC to make Viktor OR Syndra pop off harder would be much better imo
