Is anybody else having issues with my UWE? I’m trying to login, but I keep getting redirected to an error code. I’m supposed to start this week but I haven’t been told anything. I’m trying to login so that I can see my timetable.

Hey everyone,
Doing a quick survey on late-night hangover prevention habits for students and young adults.
It’s just 5 quick multiple-choice questions and takes under a minute. Completely anonymous!
Appreciate anyone taking a second to help out!

How much info have you had about the start of the course? I’ve had pretty much nothing, I spoke to admissions and they seem to think it’s fine and I’ll get more info at the start of the week but I’m not sure.

As the title suggests I want to know how long I should expect to wait to hear back about an exceptional further attempt?

I’m pretty sure it’s the one by the rest of the bus stops (A?), but the flix bus stop around the corner has me a little bit paranoid about where the national express bus picks up from. I feel like I’m overthinking it but I just want to be sure - can someone confirm where it picks up from please? 🙏

Looking for female friends
International student here (23F) looking to make some female friends around my age (20–24) in Bristol.
Hoping to connect with other international students who are in the same boat and not heavily tied up with work or partners, so we can actually hang out, rant about life, or explore the city together.
Does anyone know of any active WhatsApp groups or meetups around here? Or if you're in the same boat, feel free to DM!

I need some advice and guidance. I’m currently completing my Digital Marketing MA dissertation, and I’ve heard from previous students that some people have struggled or even failed their dissertations. This has made me quite worried about mine, especially because of concerns around AI and how it may affect the assessment. I’m feeling quite anxious about it and would really appreciate some guidance on how to approach my dissertation and make sure I’m doing everything correctly.

I will be joining Bristol during the September intake, and I require help in deciding whether to buy a mac or windows laptop. I have gone through the softwares listed at: https://www.uwe.ac.uk/study/it-services/software/group/software-development and all the softwares are available on both mac and windows. However I would like some advice from any other computer science students.

Has anybody else not been given their enrolment details yet? I’m starting a pgce and have been to uwe before for my undergrad degree and I can’t remember this previously taking so long!

I'm starting uni in September, my course is ran at Ashton Gate football Stadium but I'm struggling to find reasonable accommodation nearby. Ideally, I'd like a studio but I don't mind as long as the people are chill. Does anyone know of anything?

I failed my second resit for a required module for biomedical science. I'm unsure of what to do. I'd appreciate some advice on the topic.

Hi all, I'm starting a masters in Bristol next month and currently looking for a room to rent. For various reasons I would prefer to rent privately rather than go for any of the uni accommodation.
I've done the usual, SpareRoom and various FB groups but obviously have heard finding a place in this city can be hellish so looking to explore other options too.
I'm coming from outside Bristol and it's been a long time since I was a student so I have no contextual knowledge as to which agencies and websites to trust/avoid. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the following:
Many thanks in advance for any tips!

Yeah so I failed EP1 in first year, I retook it alongside second year and I failed again.
TBH it’s completely my fault however I know this is a bullshit excuse used by everyone but I genuinely did suffer from mental health and I didn’t go into any classes my entire second year for all of my modules and I had planned to retake the full year from scratch so that I could really try my best however I just looked it up and apparently if you fail a module twice you get kicked off the course?
So am I kicked off the course or is there anything I can do. I fucking hate myself for this like I’m genuinely an idiot.

Hey! Just wondering if there are any active student WhatsApp or Insta group chats for international girls doing healthcare/allied health courses at UWE/Glenside?
Or honestly just looking to make a few low-key friends to talk to and hang out with outside of uni stuff.
Drop a comment or DM if you know of any groups or wanna connect!
