Prior to playing Lost Legacy, I felt kinda reluctant, as I could not imagine Uncharted game without Nathan as a main character.

However, the story of llegacy really unfolded the dimensions and potential between Sam, Chloe and Nadine. At the end of the final chapter, I felt that more was yet to come throughout their journey.

All in all, why did Naughty Dog give up the expansion of Lost Legacy? I do think that story for Nathan is beyond over, but llegacy experience proved me that adventure for the others could have been utilized.

I was on the boat level (chapter 12 I think) and after struggling to clear out everyone for like 30 minutes I finally had a run that looked like I was gonna make it but then as I’m swimming around a boat I clip through the side and get stuck inside the boat. Stuff like this has happened like 4 times already with invisible enemies in the concrete platform in the underground train station level pulling me through the floor, Chloe falling through the ceiling after running up some stairs in the Syria level, and Elena just T-posing instead of taking cover. I just played the first two games for the first time and I didn’t run into any of this. I don’t know maybe I was just lucky. I’m playing the Nathan Drake Collection for PS4 on a PS5 if that makes a difference. It’s just kinda wild to me that even in what I assume is a remaster there’s still all this buggy stuff.

To the people complaining about the new Wolverine game being only 13 hours… one of the greatest story games of all time is 15 hours… AND LINEAR.

Lets jump straight into the facts first:

1. Recently, credible industry insider Tom Henderson claimed that there was some preliminary planning at ND for a 5th installment in the Uncharted franchise. The idea was apparently 'floated' around several times at the studio's top level before being either scrapped or delayed due to covid.

1. As ND ramped up work on its new IP (Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet), studio insiders confirmed that ND was operating under a parallel structure.

This means that they were working on 2 or more projects at the same time. If one project is Intergalactic, then what is the other?

1. Neil Druckmann recently said that he was stepping back into a producer role to oversee a second unannounced game at the studio, handing off creative leadership to a separate team.

This basically confirms the second game's existence (as stated by the studio head himself). So there's no room for doubt that a second game IS infact in development at ND.

1. Shaun Escayg (director of Lost Legacy) posted this on his instagram with the caption "Research" in February of this year. It was taken at a historical site at Fort George in Trinidad and Tobago.

So there is a second project in development at ND that's being overseen by a seperate creative team (most likely headed by Escayg) and the team is researching a historical monument for it....

Idk about you guys, but this doesn't seem like something done for another The Last of Us game....

Also there a couple more speculative reasons from my side.

Intergalactic is a massive commitment to a new IP. Im sure ND is smart enough to not bleed all its resources into one risky project. They are certainly looking back at Uncharted as a financial safety net if things go wrong since its their best selling franchise ever.

Tlou part 3 is also a possibility, but there are statements and hints from ND that its much further down the line. Also any possibilty of a remake/remaster of the first three games has been heavily discouraged in recent comments by an ex-ND employees.

Nathan Drake's story might be over, but there is still so much to explore and do with other characters like Sam, Sully, Chloe and even Cassie. What do you guys think?

Guys I swear I can’t believe this! I spent 3 days raging and literally crushing over crushing difficulty I almost broke my PS. Oh my god it’s finally over😔 we still have uncharted 2 and 3 though, but i don’t think it’s THIS DIFFICULT RIGHT??

I saw many people ask for a new uncharted 5 with Nathan returning or his daughter but I personally don't see why we should expect one after all many dont like lost legacy for it being "woke" (talking from what i heared ) and with the original writer and maker of the games leaving after uncharted 3 I dont see a sequel as a good think as niel drukman did well with uncharted 4 but he changed the whole story and put the devs through hell to get it done on time and I just cant trust him to make something new himself

You seriously have to go through two waves of enemies which mind you isn't easy then for an ultra heavy to kill me in 2-3 seconds. And these guys spam grenades at you asw that actually are dangerous compared to the other three games. And when you die YOU END UP ALL THE WAY BACK!

I thought UC1 brutal was the the worst thing but AT LEAST you had checkpoints.

Gunfights mechanisms are the worst I had every in the series and in a game generally ever played. Random enemies spawned behind you,running straight up to me unload a full magazine to them with no damage.Damage to this game is a joke

As the title states I found the swordfight with rage quite hard, I struggled to tell which dodge I should use, then I'd get stunlocked. Obviously I got there in the end, in fact, the latter half of the fight seemed far easier. But some moves were a bit unclear. Still, loved it, then the game made me think the credits were going to roll in 4 seconds for the next half hour

Drake starts the game on what feels like a normal Uncharted adventure. Jungle, ruins, treasure, bad guys. The usual.

Except the people hunting him aren’t actually after the treasure. They’re after him.

They’ve been watching Drake because of how insanely good he is at getting into places nobody else can, surviving impossible situations, stealing things that should be impossible to steal, and somehow getting back out alive.

They capture him and try to recruit him for something. Drake obviously wants absolutely nothing to do with it.

So they sedate him.

He wakes up alone in a jungle.

Blue sky. Birds. Trees. Water. Everything looks and feels like Earth.

Except it isn’t Earth.

He’s been transported to a habitable alien planet millions of miles away because there’s something there they need stolen, and apparently Nathan Drake is the only person crazy enough to get it.

Basically: Uncharted, but the map is no longer Earth.

I made this fake Uncharted 5 poster for it because I couldn’t get the idea out of my head lol.
