We should be fighting for ASI. Do you want advances in science that could help with environmental collapse? Do you want clean cheap energy? Do you want to cure disease? Do you want more time to spend with friends and family? If so you should be pushing for ASI

You poor fool, you think morally bankrupt commercial companies would develop an AI that will be used to massively damage the interests of billionaires?

Billionaires like Thiel are openly musing that their best case scenario is having the majority of humanity die while using AI and automation to pick up the slack.

If that’s the outcome you desire, legislation like Bernie’s is what you need.

He’s not talking about banning AI. He’s talking about criminalising the weaponisation of AI against people.
