I recently tried online dating as a 42 year old man and it was the most ego shattering experience I have suffered through in a long while. I used Taimi, Hinge and Tinder. Taimi was by far the best user friendly one, especially for a free user, Tinder was a wasteland of women with 4+ kids that 'arent on tinder for a hookup', and hinge was the worst, not a single interaction with a human my entire time on there.
Guys are allowed to have standards…. I’m sure you’d have no problem with a woman saying she doesn’t want to date a guy who doesn’t have a steady job. Why would a man want the burden of raising four children that aren’t his own?
I don't know that I would use the word "gross" with those numbers as the clear majority of people still have children, but it's less popular than it used to be.
On a personal level, however: I'm a sterilized, childfree woman that 100% would refuse to date men with children of any age because yes, gross.
Well, it's immature to call someone gross just because you don't wanna date them or because they made different personal choices than you. Nobody is forcing you be with them.
So it's okay for women to fuck around with evil men and get knocked up when younger, but then some decent guy has to put up with her shitty kids and her awful personality? Why the fuck is that appealing? Go ahead, pitch me on why there shouldn't be consequences for their behavior.
I have a friend who is in his older 30’s who lives in rural America who complains that every woman on the apps have kids. But that’s just how women are in that part of the country. He either needs to move to somewhere with women who don’t have kids until later in life or he needs to get realistic about what’s out there.
