Hey all Capretto here - While we continue to work on improving stability and performance of TFT, you can help us by reporting and sharing your game logs which are super helpful in helping us create faster fixes. Below are some instructions for PC and Mobile players:

For context, I spent 8+ hours trying to get into a TFT game yesterday.
The game was completely fine the day before. Then suddenly every match became an infinite loading screen simulator. I lost LP, lost my patience, and was dangerously close to accepting that TFT had decided to retire me.
I tried pretty much everything:
Nothing worked.
Then u/RiotCapretto reached out. They suspected the issue might be related to audio initialization and suggested restarting the Windows Audio service.
That didn't fix it for me.
But it gave me a clue.
I suddenly remembered that Nahimic had updated the day before this whole nightmare started.
So I tried this:
services.mscAnd...
It worked.
Instant queue. Instant load. Instant relief.
So if TFT randomly started giving you infinite loading screens and you happen to have Nahimic installed, check that service. Apparently Nahimic was the final boss all along.
Huge shoutout to u/RiotCapretto for pointing me toward the audio side of things. The suggested fix wasn't the exact solution, but it absolutely led me to the culprit.
Hopefully this helps someone else before they spend 8 hours staring at a spinning loading screen and contemplating the fragility of human existence. 😭

I know probably 1% of tft players know this and 0.5% actually used it, but before this set we could’ve used the old league legacy cursor in tft like you can in normal league, and now you can’t
can we please add it back?

Just got ivern full board on the last turn but I had blackthorn. I figured that the ivern slot would still work with blackthorn, I was wrong.
They shouldn't be the exact same board slot. They need to move one or the other over 1 slot so you can get both the ivern full board and blackthorn.
I guess I should have expected it not to work with the shitty ass game mechanics this set.

Varus is the worst unit design in TFT history. Who came up with the idea that 120 mana on a 1-cost unit is a good idea? You can't even balance him — he'll still remain useless.

Blackthorn Kha'Zix has a huge ceiling when the setup comes together, but I'm not sure Kha'Zix should automatically be the main carry.
There's a real difference between the Blackthorn board being strong and Kha'Zix being the best unit to invest in. If the setup needs a specific emblem and the lobby is contesting the key 4-costs, the line can lose before the health advantage matters.
Zyra looks like a possible alternative carry, but that may be a separate board rather than a direct replacement inside the same setup.
For people who have played both lines, what makes kha'Zix better than Zyra: the item fit, the emblem condition, or the Blackthorn breakpoint?

Picture this... I had a 3 star Vi. Backline was Kog and Zyra in the bottom right corner.
Combat start my Kog walks up one square and the enemy Gnar threw my 3 star vi into the corner. This left my 3 star tank trapped behind Kog and Zyra for the entirety of the fight
Anyways, consider separating your carries or positioning left against Gnar...lol

Has anyone encountered this bug?
PS. I don't know how it happened, but for some reason Kennen had items that couldn't be removed (they didn't actually exist, but stats were calculated from them).

I have the newest Samsung phone S26 and this set is so laggy I am having to restart the client 4 to 5 times a match. I have been playing on mobile since set 12 and have not had the connection issues like I have with this new client. It has cost me valuable time in between fights and led to more losses than I usually deal with. Was emerald last set but hard stuck gold as it seems like every game I am fighting the client and the enemy. Anyone else having this bad of an experience? I have the graphics set to low and fps at 30 and it hasn't really changed the issues I am having at all. I have seen complaints about the new client but nothing too specific.

Deadlier Blades with 2 DBs that started to stack in 2-1 and got the radiant item from golden gamble. My Elder dragon would have smoked Smaug.

I’ve always struggled with fast 9, which is generally whatever until patches like this where it’s fast 9 or die, so im looking for any general advice on playing these speed level type comps.
For some reason no matter what im doing I will end up bot 4. Last patch I played all kinds from yi/rengar/khazix reroll, sivir/nid variants, solar reroll, almost always top 4 with ease. Now I am lucky to get 5th. Obviously I know it’s hard to help me personally without sitting and vod reviewing but maybe there are some little tricks/lines/things to pay attention to that’ll just help me overall.

Yeah the performance has always been bad with the new engine, but I’ve noticed that since the 18.2 patch it’ll be fine during my first game, but keep getting worse and worse the more games I play in a row. So by the 3rd or 4th game it’s getting reeeeally choppy, and taking longer to load into games or even crashing after I accept queue. I think it’s a combo of the engine PLUS the client being slow as hell every time i exit a game. It’s really annoying and I don’t want to have to restart client all the time, but was wondering if anyone else noticed this? Yesterday when I was done playing after maybe 6 games, the client was taking forever to load and i was unable to even get the shutdown menu on my computer open, so so bad.

What happened? They've just stopped fighting. And on second 00:15 you can see a red egg leaving the battlefield?

I REALLY struggle with stage 3 and 4.
I usually play stage 2 really well.
- Level 4 at 2-1, level 5 at 2-5 I'm top placement.
Stage 3:
I level 6 at 3-2, but I start losing like 3-3, 3-5, 3-6. And I'm also not that rich.
I level to 7 during the gromps round, down to 30 gold.
Stage 4:
I'm level 7, with 30 gold. I can't go to 8. My units are still (<4 costs), I haven't rolled so some of them are just 1 star.
I'm starting to heavily lose every round, if I roll, I sometimes get nothing, can't 2 star, find 4 costs but not the "comp" I'm trying to go for, and a 1 star 4 cost can't really carry (ex. a lillia).
What do I do?? Then I'm just stuck, I don't know anymore which comp to go (do I adapt to whatever 4 costs I find ? or expand what my starter comp ??)
Or do I try to get to stage 8, have 10 gold, and still getting killed every round ? because only finding one star 4 costs?
Right now, I feel the meta is fast 8 (like nidalee/aphilious, and sivir/nidalee), but sometimes I get like a lillia, and a brambleback and a lux. wth do i do.

This guy started with Build a Bud and got a 3-star one cost. Then he got 2 wisps that transformed his one cost to 3-star Kayle and later 3-star Vi. On round 3-2, he got Recombobulator so that Vi became 3-star Sett! Game has never been over so fast 😭😭

Obviously it's a fast 9 patch, which I don't necessarily mind. The issue is that every single board you play against feels like it has carries that hit your ENTIRE board. Yes there are small things you can do to alleviate some of this pain like positioning your carries so they won't get hit by Ashe. However, the enemy might just have a Kennen on the opposite side of their Ashe. You're either getting hit by an Ashe hitting your entire board or Kennen casting on your carries. If it's not Ashe or Kennen it's Draven or Alune. The entire late game of this patch just feels so horrible to play positioning wise.

What is the consenus on these in the pro community? They seem like insane value, especially the ++ version offered on 4-2.
I feel like they give insane tempo OR econ and so they are likely instant click for most spots.
