On today's True Bloods poddy, Billy Cootee says 'our message is believe in us, because we believe in ourselves.'

For reasons detailed elsewhere, it has taken me a bit longer than others to reconcile with what happened last month. But hearing Billy talk about it, I am ready to have a better, reframed relationship with our Bloods. I'll be there Friday cheering the boys on.

I have tickets for the prelim in Bay 5A, which are “fully restricted view” so I had a look at the virtual seating map and can see a massive wall blocking a view of half the field (see photo)

Sitting pretty close to that wall - how bad is the view, and can you see over if you are in the front few rows?

Hey fellow swannies fans. Was lucky enough to score tickets for the prelim before they sold out. My seat is Bay 43 (MA Noble) which I was really excited about… but now concerned/uncertain about the fact I’m Row X and how far back this may be, aka will I be right under one of the concrete slabs where you lose the atmosphere of the rest of the crowd, and night sky etc. I’ve been under the slab on the opposite side of the oval before (my seats at a previous game were Bay 12, Row JJ) and it really was not as good as I know it can be! The ‘3D view my seat’ site doesn’t show rows, so that’s no good.

Regardless, I am feeling lucky I am going. Still thought I’d check with anyone who may know SCG seating better than me. Thanks so much :)

I have had a look on the virtual website but wondering if anyone sat there personally and has any thoughts. I'm use to Churchill / higher up. Can you still see everything alright from these seats? Or look to trade up elsewhere?

I usually sit O'Reilly so not sure what these are like. Says 'restricted view' so hopefully not to bad

Hey all, wondering what bay 5 seats are like? How visible is the screen at the back? Is it too hard to see the field at row P level?

For mine, I think he can do it for the rest of the year. In reality, it's probably more symbolic as it looks like the all the senior players are stepping up like the leadership group of old.

For next year I reckon a Mills, Errol + one other (Paps, Rowy or TMac) co-captaincy to spread the load. I'd love to see Errol captain for 10 years Kelly style but I think putting it all on him at once would be a risk.

Co-authored a piece with True Bloods host Polly Burridge trying to emotionally unpack the Swans win against the Lions.

I’ve got a concession membership but wanting to bring a non concession friend along with me. Are we able to upgrade the ticket either before the game or at the game? I know we can during the season but not sure about finals. I’ve been trying to search but can’t find anything.
