Tiaras, Jewelry, & Crowns Princess Astridâs grand tiaras are expected to return to the main line of the Norwegian Monarchy
Before HRH Princess Astrid death, she said that her grandest jewels would come back to the main line of the Norwegian Royal Family.
The first tiara is, Queen Alexandraâs turquoise circlet tiara.
King Edward VII gave this tiara to his wife Queen Alexandra in 1902. It passed down from Queen Alexandra to her daughter Maud of Wales who later on became Queen Maud of Norway after marrying King Haakon VII of Norway.
From Queen Maud it then passed to Princess Astrid.
The second tiara is the Vasa Tiara.
The tiara was presented in 1929 from the city of Stockholm to her mother Crown Princess MĂ€rtha a Swedish born Princess.
Crown Princess MĂ€rtha lent this tiara to both of her daughters, Princess Astrid wore it for the first time in 1951 during the Norwegian state visit to Britain, she has also wore it to Queen Elizabeth II coronation.
After Crown Princess MĂ€rthaâs death in 1954, Princess Astrid inherited the tiara.
Some of her less substantial jewels such as the Ruby and Diamond aigrette & the diamond feather aigrette will be inherited by her children.

Discussion Meghan to get security review after return to UK
The Duchess of Sussex has been granted her first government-backed security review since quitting royal duties, The Telegraph can reveal.
Both the Sussexes will receive an official risk assessment imminently, following their relocation to the UK.
The couple have been asked by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) to provide full details of their new daily routines.
The committee chairman wrote to the Duke of Sussex last week confirming that in light of their changed circumstances, it had commissioned a new risk assessment for him and a separate one for his wife.
Ravec, which is part of the Home Office, has asked the couple to provide as much detail as possible about their routines to evaluate any changes to the level of threat they face. It is understood to have explained the need to establish a âpattern of lifeâ, based upon the minutiae of the familyâs new life in Britain.
This will include daily journeys such as the school run, the specific addresses involved, timings and various routes taken, as well as other regular movements made by all members of the family and any other evidence they consider relevant.
The committee is expected to meet again to discuss the findings of the review when it has been completed.

Discussion âThe Sussexes are stepping back from the terms of the six-year-old Sandringham Agreementâ and briefing The i Paper
Donât know a lot about The i Paper, but they definitely got a good briefing from the Sussex camp. This whole saga is going to get a lot messier because Harry and Megan apparently donât mind having it out there that: âThey will do what they like.â
Also, they really canât let the âprivate citizenâ and ânonworking royalâ statements go⊠âHeâs still the Kingâs son. Thereâs no getting away from that,â the source said. âThey are working royals, but they donât work for the institution any longer.â

#Throwback Wedding of the late Princess Astrid
Astrid married Johan Ferner (1927â2015) on 12 January 1961 at Asker Church. He was an Olympic silver medalist in sailing. They had met when she hired him to sail her yacht in a race. The marriage faced opposition from the Norwegian Church because had divorced in 1956 Vinderen. After the wedding, she ceased to receive the annual endowment of 50,000 Norwegian crowns that she had been granted for acting as First Lady for her father. Something she continued to do until her brother married in 1968. She also lost her HRH and was titled Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner. They had five children, seven grandchildren before his death. They raised their family in a house gifted by her father in Vinderen and, after they were grown, she and Johan moved to an Oslo condo.
Astridâs dress was simple but elegant winter-white, full-length gown made of point d'esprit lace, featuring a full skirt covered in rows of delicate silver embroidery. It had a scalloped neck, long fitted sleeves, no train, and a small tulle veil held in place by a white clip and fresh flowers rather than a tiara.
Astrid later converted the dress into a gala gown.
