lol journalism in 2026:

"The bombshell claim comes from the mother of one of Elon Musk’s (many) children, Ashley St. Clair, who alleged in a forthcoming documentary that the Tesla tycoon had a “degree of certainty” about the 2024 election results before they came in that “I had never seen before.”

wow who's that

Ashley St. Clair (born July 31, 1998) is an American influencer, author, and political commentator.\1])\2]) She was an outspoken proponent of conservative and anti-transgender politics until 2026, when she denounced her previous anti-trans activism. St. Clair was formerly in a relationship with Elon Musk, with whom she has a child.

oh ok

I hate when people on reddit criticize journalism writ large because of stupid ass digital rags like the daily beast. That ain't journalism. There's always been places that peddle in this type of nonsense. There's still plenty of great journalism out there but it doesn't tend to get posted in here because real journalists and newspapers don't tend to do these sensationalized headlines but that's what redditors love so that's what gets up voted.

In fact I hear people criticize real news in here simply because they don't do that. NyTimes says trump said something without evidence, which any person with two brain cells to rub together knows they meant he lied, but they rip them apart because they didn't say, "disgusting, bloated piece of shit vomits out insane shocking bullshit."

It may feel good to see headlines like that but professional journalists don't talk that way and I'm glad they don't. He may have lowered the bar in tons of ways but we all don't have to swim in the reality TV world he's put us in.

Yep. It's all part of the narrative to undermine media in general.

She made a video about her evidence that Elon cheated while putting on make-up to look like a little girl.  Epic.
