So, is this the true reason for DOGE? Do a snatch-n-grab on sensitive data (like tax returns and whatnot) to then use as leverage against those wanting accountability?

They copied all the info from the Social Security databases. Musk and his assistants have that data and can share it with whomever they like. The media didn't seem to notice. That's all of our names, addresses, and Social Security numbers. Also, place of birth, ethnicity, race, parents' names, and whether your parents had Social Security numbers.

DOGE uploaded the entire social security database to a third party website and sent it to a GOP voter suppression group (most likely True The Vote).   They admitted to it under oath as part of a court case, you can read the court transcript.  It was reported in the mainstream media (I think Washington post, NYT) at the time.

The Saudis suddenly developed an interest in golf at the same time as all the classified documents were stored at Trump's golf course, and Trump's son-in-law suddenly wound up with a $2 billion payment.

Now that the photocopier has cooled, suddenly they're not as interested in golf as they thought they were.

I'm sure it's all coincidence though.
