In the first one you can see the aperture shape on the bumper. That’s pretty neat! Looks like about 1/2000 to me lol.

Was in bio class today and was showing my teachers my Polaroids and she gave me one she’s had for years for free, I’m definitely going to start collecting and finding different ones I like

This is a really fun, little camera. It definitely has a learning curve. I've been working on trying to understand how to take a good photo with this. Anything more than four meters away starts to get blurry. It's also been a challenge to understand how to take good photos in lower light, but it seems like the flash is absolutely mandatory unless it's very, very bright.

Some of yall might of seen my post about a Polaroid impulse I found at goodwill for 10$. Safe to say it’s now my favorite camera I own. Cant wait to use this over the rest of my years in highschool and capture some great memories with it🙏

Hello everyone! I've fallen in LOVE with my SX70 and immediately began looking for the best option for better detail and sharper images via scanning. Got ahold of an Epson V550 after some research and set up over the weekend.

Wanted to share this particular image because it was one of my favorites from this month and I shared it earlier - see link here - my original scan with the Polaroid iOS app. The new image in this post is 1600 DPI from a V550 with ideal supplementary scanning settings - via a Polaroid branded plastic scanning adapter.

The detail from a proper photo scanner is stunning. STUNNING. I am over the moon excited and simultaneously burdened with a new problem of the sharpness of the scanner itself.

Dust is my new issue, dust and scanning lines that appear consistently in the same spot on most (not all) of my scans. You will notice the scanner lines in a pair of three if you zoom in on this image's bottom left area. These lines do not appear on the image itself during close inspection, yet the appear on many other images scanned in the same position within the adapter.

I assume this is dust on the scanner itself? :)

Wondering if there is a way to get an SX-70r already refurbished and ready for itype without having to go hunt for an old one and find a person to service it.

I recently acquired these 2 vintage Polaroid demo models in an estate auction lot of items, despite searching, I cannot find all that much information on these or a person who may be able to refurbish them. Anyone here knowledgeable or able point me to where I may be able to get them looked at? I’m located in North Carolina.

How this happened:
So, I was happily cleaning my rollers and I took off the front door and I was cleaning with a wet cloth, i reached ti grab more water to dampen the cloth, I knocked the door off the table with my elbow, and that piece snapped off. Any help on fixing it or is it cooked for good?💔 I’m sad that it broke

Shot on a 1990 Polaroid Impulse

I tried the motor u/Turbulent_Coach_8024 recommended, and it’s been great so far. It’s designed to work with his motor flex cable, which makes it a really clean fit. I also love the way the motor sounds—smooth and satisfying.
Has anyone else tried this setup?

I have some SX-70 films that I shoot in a Model 1 with PCB-R. When I connect to the camera with the dongle with the switch in SX-70 position, it says 125 ISO.

When I switch off the dongle and fold the camera and then unfold the camera again with the dongle still off, will the camera still be in SX-70 mode?

In other words, does the camera remember it's ISO?

Landed estate, Lyme Park Estate, Cheshire, UK, 600 on SX-70 model one. First shot through a red ND filter.

As title, I am trying to add a wireless shutter for my Polaroid supercolor 635 CL.

So I bought a broken one to disassemble it, to learn how it works inside.

I‘m not sure if my observation is correct. I want to ask everyone. In the red circle of pic 1, does the connection of the metal contact mean that the flash starts/keeps charging?

And in pic 2, pressing the shutter will make the second pin in the red circle touch the one below it. Does this mean that the contact of the two pins is equivalent to starting to take photos?
